Not sure I've ever seen a forecast like that, being from Alberta.

I'm starting to think that the trip I booked to Tahoe next week WAS a good idea...

FYI, NOAA says that North Tahoe will get heavy snow from 2am-10am Friday, then a break, then precip (hopefully snow) starts up again on Saturday. Tomorrow should be off the hook for them who can hit it.

    WHERE YOU AT FRIDAY?

    FRIDAY???

Rose with base of 8000 feet and maybe they'll open more terrain

Squaw if the upper mt is open otherwise KT to Fingers is money and Fingers to base at 6200 is a nice swim

Heavenly with peak at 10,000 feet?

    Other?

    Rose is screwed

This storm is just could enough to screw rose... the snow up in the chutes is for sure two feet of completely faceted snow. Drop 3' of snow on it and its all going to rip to the ground as soon as they bomb it, right?

Best case for rose (and the tahoe BC) would have been an inch of rain up to 11K before temps dropped... or am I missing something?

Fuck it. I'm just depressed. Snow level 8000 feet for Saturday, yay for snow-rain mix.

Finally get my hopes up, to just have them squashed by some weak, warm systems. I'm still going up this weekend, but I won't like it.
