    Nice! LOL!

I am mostly laughing at how pathetic we all are. 6000+ views and 200+ post.....talking about a possible storm in Feb, it is sad.

Let's hope us Tahoe folks can start to post TRs....instead of forecasts.

Yes a jinx is still possible. Woodskier WAS messing around but now the watch has REALLY been downgraded to an advisory.

OK. Got up to Rose first thing this AM to hit up the reported 3-5" bounty. Was everything they promised. Silent skiing was quite the pleasure after weeks of loud shralping & scraping the various degrees of hardpack. Was finally able to ditch the Snow Rangers in favor of my Fischer Big Stix 8.6. Ventured here & there, risking base & edge among the trees & rocks, but always treading lightly and didn't hit a single rock. If I'm feeling lucky tomorrow AM I may just take out the Bros for the first time all year.

    Holy shit........a POTENTIAL weather TR.

Awesome in both its vision and the implied commentary on the pathetic state of current affairs.

Hats off to you sir evil.

To all you doom and gloomers...

As usual, the Sacto NWS office is MUCH more optimistic than the Reno office. I've noticed this trend over the last several years. Maybe because the Sacto office is dealing with the West slope and Reno is east and prevailing winds and... whatever. Anyway, the Sacto office still has their warning up for tonight and they put up a watch for Saturday and Saturday night a couple hours ago. Right now the radar is show A LOT of moisture going across the north state (looking at Skier666's kind TR above, and other radar) and it's raining 4/10s of an inch an hour off the coast. Don't despair. When all is said and done, I'll think most will be happy. Cheers.
