    Ok, Im a dick.

Now that we have that cleared up, Im sorry for being picky, and Im sure Ill have plenty of fun at BW when I have little tykes running around. But yeah, Im spoiled, and skiing anything other than giant bumps, steeps, or pow-filled trees, I get bored. Sorry folks, sorry to disappoint.

I do not think anyone has tested that theory due to never having 6" of fresh snow to ski on.
Although Glen Plake and Bode Miller ski there ask them.....

    Hmmmmm, interesting...
    [dream]

Glen Plake: Hey man, I just do this for the PR. Ehhhehehehehhh! Get a load of my kryptonite breath!

Bode Miller: As any racer from MA, NJ, or PA will tell you, you dont need a steep hill with 2,000 vertical to become a good racer. Or to be a crazy nutjob.

When it comes down to it.

    It has snow on it.
    It has trails.
Its not Kmart which half of you people seem to jizz yourselves over for some fucking reason.

    Youre absolutely right.

    > It has snow on it
Ok, sometimes, just like any other mountain in NE. Check.

    > It has trails.
Good thinking! The trails keep the gapers out of the woods. Hopefully they keep skiing on the trails. Check.

Agree wholeheartedly. Not a Kmart fan in particular either. See my avatar. Check.

    Edit:
Im sorry if I got people in a tizzy by busting on BW. I dont mean to demean it. Its a great mountain for some. I like a bit more challenge (note that Im not saying Im too good for it--Im sure there are peeps around here that can kick my a** on snow), though. If someone can get me a discounted ticket, Id be happy to follow a local around and re-explore BW.

Its been downpour rain in the valley while it was whiteout conditions at the top of Crawford Notch.

Sometimes? More often than not they get more snow than anything else in that neighborhood.

So if the pissing contest is over, what is the far right like? That was definitely not open when I was there, and all of the woods were not open (or I wasnt old enough to have interest in skiing the woods).

The woods shots are fun the regular trails are.... regular trails. Rosebrook also has some steep tree shots.

Mrs mrw and I always try to hit BW at least once a year. It is the only place we go that she is willing to ski the whole place. Usually she ends up parking in the lodge for a while anywhere else. Not steep but nice continous vert that boosts egos.Sort of a ying/yang with Cannon.

I took 3 runs at stowe today.....the nosedive and hayride glades were somewhat skiable, but pretty much every thing else was packed/icy or just icy crust. Nosedive and the glades were actually pretty damn decent, I was just a bit bummed out, and it was cooold. Yesterday was pretty good, during the storm....several days worth of accumulated snow over on spruce in various spots off main street, and the main mountain was seeing lots of poaching.
