Ha! A-50, Tu-22, and Tu-95s on fire... including striking 4000km into Russia. Nothing says "stop bombing our cities" like taking out half the DA VS.

Also, US take notice, 100% this is what China will try to do to our B-2s and F-22s.

Yeah, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) successfully struck Russia's Belaya, Diaghilevo, Olenya and Ivanovo airfields. That's akin to simultaneously striking Barksdale, Minot. Dyess, and Ellsworth taking out a third of America's B-1B, B-2, B-52 bomber fleet

    ^accurate

Russia refused Ukraine’s offer of total or air ceasefire. Trump refused Ukraine’s request for air defenses and declined to sanction Russia for murderous missile attacks on Ukrainian cities. Ukraine took out the planes used for these missile attacks. Simple. Love it.

There are already several million DJI drones in the US. Not hard to imagine the Red Chinese put in backdoor software so that one day the teenager using his drone finds his drone unresponsive as it flies to the nearest military base...</p>

Unless they also put in some backdoor explosives, I'm not sure we have to worry that much.

It’s like the sinking of the HMS Prince of Whales and HMS Repulse all over again. Giant airframes and huge airfields to sustain them is feeling less “sustainable” in the 21st century.

The Ukrainians are once again showing the effectiveness of drone warfare against extraordinarily expensive war weapons.

Backdoor Explosives would be a good band name.

Don't think of it as an attack on strategic assets, think of it as an attack on trucking. Like the shoe bomber and then the underwear bomber, the cost to defend against this will be even higher than the very significant damage.

Rail attacks ticked up sharply in the last day or two, as well, so hopefully a strategic focus on strangling Russian logistics.

Good for them. If MAD can be shown to work without nukes it would be a boon to non-proliferation. Maybe the only possible way at this point. Welcome to the 20th century, CE.

Playing the devil's advocate, and I funny know the answer.

How would this strike help with the dire situation on the front in eastern Ukraine?

Drones do not need explosives to take out a jet. Just fly into a spinning engine.

Putin has some explaining to do. What a disaster for him and his failing military, failed war, failing country. Some of his people are going out of windows over this in order to take the fall for him.

Trump loves losers like Putin. It makes no sense for Merica but it must be paying the bills in Trump world...make it make sense.
