Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s moving forward despite it. That's why, I think, there are brohs who viscerally despise Zelensky. He didn’t flee when Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine while Russian kill squads roamed the streets of Kyiv hunting him. Deep down these cosplaying dudes know they wouldn’t have done the same, they would have run. So there’s a persistent psychological need to tear down the constant reminder of their cowardice.

Zelensky with a nearly 60-percent approval rating says “I am focusing on security today and not in 20 years time. I don’t plan to be in power for 10 years,” and is ready to step down as president if it means “peace for Ukraine.” Putin & Trump want to get rid of Zelensky because they want to install a traitorous puppet. It won't work. The only Ukrainian presidential contender more popular than Zelensky is former armed forces Commander-in-Chief and current UK ambassador Valerii Zaluzhnyi. Zaluzhnyi is no friend of Russia.

Cynical cretins can't imagine people like Zelensky & Zaluzhnyi exist. Putinists simply can't comprehend them. They’re cynical and self-interested and assume everyone else is too. They go crazy seeing real bravery and real patriotism

I don’t generally read the times, but it points out some things the opposition needs to always keep in mind

““Opponents end up arguing about his narratives regardless of how grounded they are in fact,” said Dr. Zelizer. “This has put President Trump in a perpetual position of advantage since he decides the terms of debate rather than anyone seeking to stop him.”

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — In a win for Ukraine on the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion, the United States on Monday failed to get the U.N. General Assembly to approve its resolution urging an end to the war without mentioning Moscow’s aggression. And the assembly approved a dueling European-backed Ukrainian resolution demanding Russia immediately withdraw from Ukraine.

It marks a setback for the Trump administration in the 193-member world body, whose resolutions are not legally binding but are seen as a barometer of world opinion.

The countries who voted against the UN resolution to condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine

Just in case Cono and Rod and others wanted to know who aligns with their perspective. Bastions of ethical behavior like North Korea and Sudan.

How do we even have any self-respect as a nation anymore? Siding with Putin, endorsing blatant lying, ruining relationships w/ allies decades old.

For what? A complete lack of decency. Shameful.

You would think there would be enough Rs in congress that see this for the horrible position it is and the damage it is doing and support impeachment... but sadly no.

If Trump keeps going like this there won’t be a point to being a senator/rep anyway so what’s the risk?

Pshaw, instead of legislating they can just hang out, tweet some bullshit and make a bunch of $$$ insider trading.

There is a very real risk that Trump and/or Elon will lash out at them publicly and they'll have to genuinely fear for their lives.

In response to Tump saying “Europe is loaning the money to Ukraine” and “they’re getting their money back” when French President Macron interrupted to say, “No, in fact, to be frank, we paid. We paid 60% of the total effort.”

    https://x.com/kaitlancollins/status/1894097234200760507

Macron goes on to argue: :The United States should be compensated by Russia for expenses incurred in supporting Ukraine, since Russia started the war.

Fuck Trump. I had an uncle two great uncles who fought in Europe. When Reagan called the Soviet Union the evil empire he was right. And that is what Putin wants to recreate. Trump gets the Neville Chamberlin Suck The Dick of the Fascist Aggressor Award for his lifetime “achievements”

Zelensky is delusional. He offered to resign of Ukraine joins nato. Which everyone knows it's not in the cards.
NATO said so, Trump said so.

And eu criticized Trump for agreeing immediately that Ukraine will never join NATO and the territory that Russia occupied will not go back to Ukraine.

When everyone knows that this will never happen. And regardless what i or everyone else thinks of Trump, he was a real estate guy. He knows how to negotiate. He could never get Russia to the table if he insisted on Ukraine joining NATO.

It's a shame the over a million people died since 2022, when a peace accord was almost signed, before Biden and Johnson convinced zelensky to keep fighting.

2 years of fighting and the peace will have the same terms as on 2022. Nothing accomplished except more people died.

So you're saying Reagan was a nazi, right? Maybe we should just let putin invade america. Show those antifa twerps how it's done. And then we can give him half our oil and gas. So, we will get Ukraine minerals, russia will get ours...we are close to getting that new world order our dear leaders have been talking about: globalism wrapped in nationalism inside a capitalist enigma.

Trump probably still has the ability to read the global room. You can only stir the shit for so long. Purple nurples, wedgies and swirlies have lost the effectiveness. Worked himself and hopefully not America into a lose-lose situation. Ukraine is benefited which is good....but just think of the poor American tourists strutting around in Trump t-shirts trying to get into a real pub in Prague.
