Figure down the road, the US will be like post world war Germany and ashamed of itself. Better yet that doesn't happen.

Short format social media, AI. Kind of ironic that generation alpha will die from being passive and complacent.

Yeah to big, but not to big to jack life up domestically and globally. Look at the indifferent Russian common folks. Shit hole in the soul.

You guys should have left Zelensky out of the second impeachment. Nancy completely sodomized him especially because she knew it would die in the senate. He hadn’t been president a day.

Vindman will be hung by Ukraine shortly and Z needs to be replaced.

    Ukraine

So letting putin win is a calculated risk. Letting putin loose not.
The damage of loosing 15% of Ukraine territory instead of 100% is already a win after 3years of war.
It is a exit for putin to keep his face.
Putin wouldn’t have negotiated the last 3years.
Getting him on the table is already a victory for the united west.
I have the picture of Scholz and macron on the big table. They had no leverage!

I don’t think it is right what’s happening.
But putin must keep his face. And the propaganda must show how strong Russia is. Even though they achieved nothing in 3 years.

Yeah, people who are trying analyze all this through a geopolitical lens and cant seem to understand why it looks like the US is trying to screw over Ukraine are forgetting that Trump acts out a deep need for revenge and he hasn't forgotten that Zelensky didnt bend the knee.

I’m still waiting for someone to give me a real plan for Ukraine to defeat Russia.

All I ever heard was “we will stop when they leave”

That not how wars are won and lost.

Ukraine and Europe had since 2014 to prepare, they had a history of, doing nothing, Yugoslavia etc odd cause that’s where we first pissed off russia with dumbo Wesley circling the Russia s at that airfield.

Has Europe mobilized? No. Did Ukraine increase defense spending? Barely

Now after a suicidal frontal spring offensive, Ukraine has lost ground for 10 month straight.

But it’s all our fault, right? If ukraine loses the other 80% the uselss will still blame US. They were blaming Biden the last few months, none of you stood up for him.

Bunion, you are a terrible loser. I mean really, trying to be the hall monitor, like you’re a protector of all things libtarded in tgr. No one wants you speaking for them.

I get plenty of DM’s telling me not to never quit giving bozos like you shit. Yes

They just don’t want you making in appropriate remarks about their children.

What’s the end game in Ukraine? Restoration of pre-2024, or pre-2022 borders?

Putin is willing to forfeit human life seemingly indefinitely.

The reality seems to be bearing out. Short of “boots on the ground” by Yurp, England, US, how much more $$ do we throw at it?

UFC fighters negotiate better contracts after a win. Ukraine is losing, be done now? Or continue to lose every negotiating position with further losses.

Russia will go home as soon as they run out of donkeys. Antique tanks were nice, but fuel refining and transportation have such a high carbon footprint. Russia is innovating in special green military operations. Suck it transpeople!

Trackhead I assume you mean pre-2014 vs pre-2022. That's only part of the equation. The security guarantees and reparations are as important as the territory.

Remember Russia's base position was Ukraine is not a country and should be part of Russia entirely, or at large parts should be Russia and the rest should be a totally disarmed puppet state with no foreign forces present, drop all sanctions, and give Russia all frozen assets. Ukraines base position was GTFO and pay for what you broke using frozen assets, stay back, and let us join the EU and have alliances and weapon systems to deter attack and ensure the Budapest memorandum is more than a piece of paper.

Those positions are infinitely far apart.

Security guarantees will be whether Ukraine could pursue alliance memberships, whether Western powers would station peacekeepers, whether Ukraine is allowed to own various weapons systems, and whether Russia is allowed to pre-stage various forces close to the border. All of that is about whether a "peace" is just the pause the between Anschluss of the Sudatenland to defend ethnic Germans and the Munich agreement granting full control and occupation of Czechoslovakia followed by the co-invasion of Poland over the manufactured Danzig crisis. I mean the Soviet annexation of Eastern Ukraine to defend ethnic Russians followed by a Soviet rearming and invasion following the next manufactured crisis. Did I say Soviet? I meant Reich. I mean USSR. I mean Russia.

So how do you prevent that? I think both parties are too far aparty to agree to terms that would provide security guarantees for Ukraine and not leave it in a permanent state of economic ruin. So it would be in the Ukrainian interest to keep fighting.

US support up to this point has been at a level meant to just maintain the balance and grind Russia down slightly faster than Ukraine so that Russia is more neutralized. That was cruel and idiotic policy that had been keeping Ukraine going but had mostly benefited the US defense economics and strategicly defanged the Soviet stockpiles.

The plan to win or bring Russia to a position that could be accepted by Ukraine? It is the same plan that would have won in 2022. Full commitment with needed stockpiiles and weapons. We have 3000 maint battle tanks that will never see action. We can give real long range weapons. WE can supply real numbers of artillery shells now that we have boosted industrial capacity.

Didn't Russia sign a peace treaty with Ukraine to get Ukraine to give up their nukes? Why would they sign another peace treaty that defangs them even more and leaves them dependent on Russia honoring the agreement? That would be as worthless as a trade agreement with the USA.
