Please explain in English what this post means. We know the history and how and why Russia/Putin built up his forces and invaded Ukraine. We know US intelligence agencies warned the West that this invasion was imminent.

The simplest explanation for Trump's haste, regardless of his motives, is that Russia is bankrupt and the country can't maintain the war throughout 2025. Yes. Trump in particular wants to save Putin. But as a matter of policy, even the Biden admin, along with the German Scholz admin, were deeply concerned about Russia breaking up and falling into chaos & civil war. There has never been a policy for Ukraine to win outright. The plan was always a negotiated settlement. The difference being Biden and Europe wanted favorable Ukrainian terms while Trump wants to favor Putin
