As usual, worth all the BS. I missed knee deep snow.

The Bird was great today. Worth waiting four and a half hours in the car. Knee deep and perfect for hucking off things. Heard some folks complaining the snow was too heavy which was a little funny coming from Tahoe. Honestly I think it was pretty much the perfect density for big landings and still light enough to blow through in the trees

as much as I doom posted, the ikon of the north skied pretty dam good today. This year I feel like typical day is snow, warm up, good luck dealing with shitty lower mountain conditions.

snow was heavy, deep, slow motion and a hell of a lot of fun. The cooling trend through out the day was much appreciated as it kept the snow in great condition. First time skiing bell to bell in forever. Ripped it all wall to wall with tgapp joining for most of it. Despite alterras contribution to the holding's family wealth (which I used today lol) absolutely hammering the mountain with beaters - it was a hell of a day.

    Stoke!

I knew you'd appreciate that. First time I've hit it all year, finally have enough snow.

    FKNA DtM. Sick vid.

Great day today at the bird. Delayed road let us get early walk on Trams and Mrs Duff was amazing enough to wait out the early AM with my 7 yo until the instructors for her lessons could make it up canyon at 10. Mountain skiied great today although the somewhat higher water content snow did seem to track out easier than typical. But like DTM showed above ,it was perfect for badasses to send . My 11 yo and his buddy were watching people launch off all sorts of hits.

Mountain really didn't feel as crowded as I expected even later in the AM. I think the Tram line and Peruvian got long at points but Gad Valley side wasn't bad at all later in the day. Zero complaints here!

Not as photogenic today but had some fun. Hit big ice hole unexpectedly in the flat light going past the Regulator snow gun and tweaked my knee a little. Will probably take tomorrow off to rest it and avoid the people who were blacked out all weekend.

Today, DV was an adventure (in a good sort of way). First, I arrived at the Mayflower gondola parking lot at 8:40, and it was basically empty.I was able to park in the first lot above the shuttle drop off. There was no gondola line. I could have had a bucket to myself, but I shared it with 2x mogul olympian Jillian Vogtli. Not only is she smoking hot, but she is funny too. I was thinking of asking her whether she wanted a suck on my vape pen, I knew she was working. Next, I had two amazing runs on both sides of Ontario bowl. There was no one on the hike or in the bowl. Then, I skied X-files, Chute 8,7,6,4 and the bowl. There were no other skiers in eye-sight to impede my line. Bliss. All that, and I was home for a late lunch and sauna.</p>

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Great day today at the Bird. Did the "I know better but I'm still a dumbass touron so can't help myself " run into Mineral in the AM, sun almost peeked out for a minute so vis was actually good . Went over and met up w BobMC and his crew for a bit, his son Huge Hair Dog just finished up some laps w DTM and was an awesome guide for a fun lap with my grom. Much appreciated! Unfortunately had to split off from him early to meet up w the kids friends up here w us , had some great thunder bowl laps with untracked pillows hiding everywhere, then went up little cloud where the wind was howling and nature's groomer buffed everything out perfectly. The groms fingers froze up there so back to the tram deck for some hand warmers and a walk on tram to wind filled Silver Fox to end the day.

Always a great time here! Thanks to all you locals sharing the stoke once again! Will be over at Alta tomorrow

Amazing last three days!! Wish I had today off, but stoked that the storm is still delivering. I will be watching from downtown. Wish it was easier/worked to post pictures. Thanks for the videos DTM.

Solitude is certainly still struggling with getting shit open. Powderhorn generally is not loading until 10:00 to 10:30am and Summit chair is like 11:00 - noon. Honeycomb, maybe mid afternoon, but usually not until a full day without new snow. It is hard to believe their terrain is more difficult to control than Alta and Snowbird as they alluded to earlier this year. I am thinking they might be struggling with headcount on patrol. As always, I am appreciative for their hard work. Certainly a tough job. There was a sneaky Navarone opening early on Saturday! Thanks for that one!

Also observed someone exchange beers for a last second cut in the BCC red snake (about 4 cars from the traffic light). Well played I guess.

as for getting terrain open, I think this storm was pretty dam complex on a really shitty snowpack.basin still hasn't gotten pretty much any gate open since Wed. And i've seen patrol run lines and bombing almost all weekend. They were bombing at 4 PM yesterday - which I've never heard.
