The US renamed French fries over a desire to be somewhat neutral. US citizens cheered.

There are leagues of forums/social media with pro-usa posters regaling in 'sticking it to CA'.

If the US was threatened as CA was, you better believe there'd be an extreme national outcry that transcended beyond courtesy to the non-faithful. It'd probably be violent. But, hey, those threats didn't happen - so people in the states can't find a complement to what CA is dealing with as an existential threat to their sovereignty or respect as a nation.. And despite US white doctors comparing their plight to the bigotry experienced in the US by Muslims, that's not really the situation here - nor is it paramount to consider the comfort & politeness of their ski vacation.

The reckless trolling and expansionism threats isn't to be tolerated. It's horrifying. To dismiss this is wrong. To shift the narrative to the comforts of your vacation is extremely tone deaf. A loss of perspective, that demands correction - instead, offer empathy without conditions.

I'd like to remind some of the posters here - that the same people who are demanding tolerance from CA in regards to our citizenry, are all about condemning Palestinians for their perceived endorsement of Hamas. Not only do we have more sway with our government than they do, our protests don't put our lives at immediate risk.
