PS Canada's navy is barely adequate for coastal protection with a few frigates and 4 subs. And the upcoming River class "Destroyers" might be useful for a convoy escort, but cannot protect itself well with an anemic 24 cell Mk41. A first rate destroyer has 72-96 VLS tubes. BTW the US yards are backlogged so feel free to order some Japanese Maya class DDGs if you don't want to buy American. The Korean Sejong the Great class are rad. So are the UK Type 45s or the 83s when they get built. Even Australia's 20 year old destroyers will outclass what Canada is building.
