Saw on newschoolers that Fischer is coming out with an LV version of their boot with tech fittings and no walk mode. I was ready to pull the trigger on the ktwo cortex when it’s available but if price is the same and the Fischer comes with a zip fit that changes the equation. Finally some companies coming out with true LV freeride boots. Now if Nordica could just produce a plug Doberman with tech fittings I’d be in heaven.

Wait... what? A LV, tech toe, no walk, with a Zipfit?

Can those in the know make a list of all the Tech Toe/No Walk boots available? I only know about K2 & Armada. And before a week ago, I only knew of K2 Recon 140, previously Team.

May God let this trend continue.

/ahem, Lange RS. (which is even more intriguing now that they came out with the Shadow and dedicated their molds for RS just to RS with a new mold for 2025.)

don't have a photo but the main thing is the introduction of the new Jester X and Griffon X. Fully new design with a super low stack height, and a buttload of power. Only quirk is the brake is built into the heel track to achieve the low stack height, so if you want to change brakes you have to buy the whole track assembly (but not the heel piece itself)

Shit, I totally forgot about those and to take a Pic. . Rep had them when I was mounting my skis.

They look solid, I almost went with a pair.

I'll try to get some pics of them, colors looked pretty good.

I had CAST put tech toes on my Dobermans. It was a total hack job, absolutely comical how bad their craftsmanship was. Their customer service was even worse. I’ll stick with bigger brands that stand by their product and have the resources to build quality gear.
