The whole Van Deer thing is a head scratcher. Apparently our shop (Boyne Resort) brought in a pretty decent assortment of them and there is no wholesale pricing, we paid retail to sell at retail
Gonna be honest, Amer especially atomic would be low on the list of companies I’d expect making VanDeer boots.
Hirscher skiing in very obviously rebadged Lange boots immediately after retiring probably didn’t sit that well.
I heard a rumor that van deer Red Bull is going to buy Salomon. No idea if true but the source is pretty plugged into the industry
I think Red Bull was buying the ski part of Salomon and Salomon itself was just going to be a running shoe/clothing company.

Hey Tom, interested in this new boot. I've currently got a krypton 130 ti and I'm looking for a big big 360 degree stiffness increase. The krypton is simply not enough to handle, me, my pack and my touring set up. I'm basically looking for a head raptor 140 with tech fittings. Might this new k2 boot fit the bill?
It should for sure. The raptor 140 was actually one of our baseline boots. That was the boot Sam used before joining K2 so that was one of the boots we targeted in terms of performance. We are confident we have met or even exceeded what that boot offers so hopefully it should work well for you.
What is van deer? Never heard..
only pivot 2.0's next year. There will now be an 11, 13, 15, and 18 DIN.
11 toepiece looks to be that of the pivot before the the wider version, 13 toepiece is the same as the current 12/14.
Sender free 100 should be making appearances in the next week or so, early release pairs are starting to go out this coming week.
