Contrary sentiment is the opposite of the majority sentiment. Trump now/will flip and welcome the flurry of delivered tools and go war hawk on the rapidly weakening Vladimir.

It's crazy how Russian backed Assad won elections in Syria a few months ago with more than 90% of the vote and now there's talk of him fleeing the country....

Meanwhile in Paris Zelenskyy looks pleased with the color of Trump's tie. I've never seen him wear the color of Ukrainian wheat fields & freedom before:

Suppose Russian Naval and Air Force bases in Syria ....,..... Wouldn't abandoning Ukraine to get that back under control be more advantageous for the Soviets? What are the African logistics?

Crimea is pretty useful to the neo-soviet empire.

Zel might have explained in 9yo terms how America doing what Poot says is weak and America fkn rules brah.

So, has little buddy Joe Rogan scheduled W. Klitschko on his show yet?

Rogan refused to interview both Klitschko and, last week, Zelenskyy too.

Today, Trump said he'd end the war "if he can" and added that "maybe" Ukraine will not receive as much military aid from the United States. So much for ending the war on day one. The rhetoric will be different but it looks like Trump's Ukraine policy will be a continuation of Biden's Ukraine policy.

Also today, we found out Russia accepted its first Syrian refugee...

... so it's funny how the usual suspects here weren't screaming about Russian Red Lines and WWIII as rebels tore down everything Putin tried to build in Syria over the past decade.

Putin just rolled over and accepted defeat. That's how the Russian invasion of Ukraine could end too, with the toppling of statues and fed up Russians taking selfies in the dictator’s palaces. Sic semper tyrannis

The new administration could tell us different lies, and increase actual aid while decreasing the budget.

"Ukraine, take these jalopy tanks and expired missiles off our hands for $0 billion dollars." Instead of "Here's a $50 billion aid package" $45 billion in new weapons for DOD and Ukraine gets $5 billion of expired military goods worth 0 but valued at MSRP. The former could be much more useful militarily than the latter. Would be tough to get through Congress without the $45B pork, but a little pencil whipping on the Executive side valuing old equipment at $0 then makes the aid easily fit in a presidential drawdown allocation.

Cool story bro. And some thought the goals weren't clearly defined?

This very possible ruby slippers tale couldn't be told without years of boiling away Poot's post-Soviet conventional arsenal. And nookleearr Rooshya had to be boiled like frog.

Just saw that. The day after they accused him of using banned chemical weapons, I like the promptness. Now I'd like to see it a lot darker and colder in Moscow.

I hear Moscow started holding "active scooter drills" so they can be prepared for future active scooter incidents.

Apparently not enough. The only way to stop a bad scooter with a bomb is a good scooter with a bomb.

They have failed twice. Fidel tried to launch his during the bay of pigs and then the Soviets did during the 1983 thing.

    Both times they didn't work.

Or else we would be dead. At least those of us not in Australia, New Zealand or Argentina.
