Wildcat it is tomorrow and I'll toss some rock skis in the car just in case the off piste looks good.

Haven't skied there since Fail took over interesting they chose a different early season WROD route.

For my money thats the best chairlift in New England. When the broke ass former management put it in the lifties and all the employees used to brag that the wind never blew side to side and they would run it up to 50 mph gusts. I LOVE Wildcat.

Skiing is fun. My legs are toast.

    Great to slide again.
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

    How do you pronounce Plattekill?
For some reason I always thought 2 syllables. Silent e. But someone who says they ski there a lot said it with 3. Like platypus.
I see pics of it here so figured someoneight have thoughts.

Ansel Adams? Did they have detachable chairlifts in his day? I get it...style.

Sure looks like one of the traverses at Saddleback. I'm guessing that's the top station of the Rangely quad at the top right of the pic. Single can verify.

Plattekill, like every place else, was off the hook this weekend.

Two laps was all I could muster, but they were sublime. I skied with Roman, Riley and Joe.

Correct… between Governor and Family Secret… and just above a lovely sheltered designated safety meeting spot. I hope to see some of you there this Jan/Feb.

Cue the incoming hate but IMHO Family Secret is one of the best lift line runs in the East (and yes, I'm including Chute at MRG and The Madonna lift line....)
