    Not anymore.. lol.

Funken, I think I saw you at the top of the pass on Saturday. We hiked just on the Lake County side to an old mine structure at the creek.

I think we've got another week in Snowmass.
I'm hitting Rim around 8. It's really cold and it gets the sun early.

That looks about right. Looks like some snow making weather will line up after this next storm. We'll see how much they decide to get after it.

Is the four mountain sports sale worth checking out or still a little pricey

It's much (like an order of magnitude) smaller than it used to be, but we've done well at it over the years picking up some things.

It was pretty weak. I got some $160 Aspen X branded long underwear for $25.
I might swing thru on Sunday to see if a couple of jackets and a few pair of skis are still there @ 70% off.

Kinda what I figured. Was up there yesterday but didn't have time to swing by. But the trails are awesome right now - rode tom blake -> buttermilk -> sky mtn loop yesterday and it's nice and tacky

I was going to try to ride after my 3pm, but what is blowing in doesn't look pleasant to ride in...

Not sure if this system will drop enough to ski on, unless you go up to what's already skiing.

Snowmaking on Aspen and Aspen Highlands has commenced. I haven't checked Snowmass yet.

Not sure if Tuesday night/Wednesday will provide enough for me to go up and poke around this week, but should set up for any 6" or more storm after this one to go find some things to wiggle turn on.

I had a fantastic FATe ride.

A good mid drive with studded snows is a blast and there's a bunch of great places to ride.

Looks like at least a few people skinned up to just above cloud 9 yesterday. I have some things going on this weekend but will be up for dusting everything off here soon.

    It's pretty thin.

Parking at the Elk Camp work road gate and skinning up Lunkerville on the far right, would be better.
That's where they put in the snowmaking pipe, then graded and strawed the run.

1st person to ski, has to start the next thread!

Went to highlands. Super nice powder turns above mgr actually with plenty of base. Stuck to the sled track and road the rest of the way down and was fine but def thin. No core shots!

Nice work, start the 24-25 thread!

I was thinking that or from the top of Wood Road would be the best bet for right now. Lunkerville isn't a bad option either.

THE Aspen/Snowmass / Greater Roaring Fork Valley 23-24 Thread

Do any mags know the gravirax people?

    https://www.gravirax.com

I have emailed them twice about picking up a ski rack (I am in basalt, as are they) so I don’t have to pay $100in shipping.

No response and it’s been several weeks.

Wife’s vehicle she got this summer is too tall for the topper we used on our Outback (both for garage and her getting skis down).

    Thanks!

Also, if any local mags want snow tires for their Subaru, let me know. Free and lots of tread. Were on a 2012 Outback.

No idea if pricing will be comparable but I know Myers and Co makes the same style rack and they are local too, maybe give them a call.
