    Yeah probably not for everyone. And it was 4 hours (each way) of the 2nd roughest seas I’ve ever been in to get there. Lots of people throwing up on the way back to Longyearbyen.

    From yesterday. Annual Big Shoulders 5k swim in Chicago. We were lucky to be able to swim. There was a beach advisory out stating "life threatening" conditions in Lake Michigan. Luckily the swim is in a somewhat protected area, so we got the go ahead on a shorter course that avoided the wavier areas. It was windy, it was a bit cold (the air that is, the water was nice at 72) but it was still fun to be out there! I always have a good time in Chicago.
