I've always thought the round side of Half Dome looks like a penguin from this angle.

^ A lot more people there than I'd expect for a meaningless game.

Got in an outdoor swim this morning. This pool is open year-round. Easy to swim there now, we'll see if how much I want to swim outdoors in December. There is a hot tub, though!

Nice. Our municipal pool is outdoor in the summer and then they throw a dome on it for the winter. It opens this week and I'm going to take a class. Wish me luck.

I know of only one pool in the area that uses a dome in the winter. There are several outdoor pools that stay open year-round now, which is up significantly from just a few years ago. Definitely a positive trend. I guess when it's clear no new pools are going to be built, existing pools feel like they better capitalize on the demand and can't just stay open for a few months in the summer.

Pretty funny. In around the 8th inning or so they showed a bunch of people with Mariners jerseys on the big screen and they showed an A’s fan with a half a dozen Mariners fans/friends and he turns around and he had duct tape over whoever’s jersey it was, and he wrote FUCK JOHN FISHER there. Got a pretty good reaction from the crowd

Potentially not the last game here of the season, but has been fun regardless.
