Great suggestion but the 12th is a holiday that's important to her.

My bill came (tolls by mail), service fee is higher than the toll fee. I guess I need to get an EZ Pass and have funds stuck into it...

Talkin bout tolls... Yesterday I zoned out and passed someone while passing under one of those auto readers and saw lights for both lanes flash. Ya think I'll get double billed?

If you're in MA and have bikes on a rack take your EZ pass out of the window. The readers can't see your plate so you won't get billed for the tolls.

In NY, they take a picture of the front also. When I was driving home from my month in Driggs a coupla years ago, I forgot to throw my EZPass on the dashboard when entering NY from Erie. They sent a picture with the bill and it was the front of the car. Clear pic also...I could see myself driving. So, if you're a state that requires a front plate (MA, NH, NY, ME, and VT unless you paid extra for a Vermont Strong plate) don't expect that to work - at least in NY.

States with front license plate requirements are solely for revenue enhancement.

Add damage multiplier to the list of things front license plates do then.

Many of the new license plates are just printed and not stamped. Won’t do any good with an impression.
Because rich has nothing to do with money.

As I crossed the thruway to Albany I thought: wow the road is terrible mainly, it costs money to in state residents, and they top it off w destroying your car w the salt . Oh and inspection directly plugged into NYS hardware. So any bullshit sensor doesn't pass. And NYS is perpetually insolvent. W half the money of the entire country on wall st. It's really- incomprehensible.

Our state does not have front plates. But I know a few people that put a vanity like plate on the front. Then they would get out of plenty of parking tickets that the meter reader would walk up to the front of the vehicle and write down the letters on the plate there. Then the ticket does not match their registration and it would be thrown out every time. Only if they walked to the back of the vehicle could they get the accurate plate number.
