I watched this happen to a friend of mine I’ve known since high school. Turns out you can be an alpha through high school/college and turn into a complete beta in actual life. He lives a lonely life, pushing 60 without a date in almost 20 years. Surrounded by guns, stockpiled tens of thousands of rounds, and constantly shit posts our ski/bike text group about how much of an “American” he is. Sad life, working a shit job that he never takes time off of because when he does, he just gets shitfaced alone. Spends his internet time on AR15.com with his like minded incels. It’s not a happy life but it’s the one he has chosen. And of course it’s all Brandon’s fault.

I still enjoy biking and skiing with him. He’s smart enough to not talk about how Sandy Hook was a false flag operation anymore after I told him to shut the fuck up with that nonsense. It’s still a bummer to see someone descend that far over the years.
Doesn't believe what exactly? That we have a right to bear arms and its part of our system of checks and balances?

OMG what a horrible person!!!!. The shame!

The last two posts sound desperate. Deflection and lies, it’s actually a little sad to witness a public breakdown

If only there was something we could do...

Im willing to compromise with gun policies favored in the old west. Oh, Dodge City and most others had control and banned weapons from certain areas? Who da thunk it.

So much for the mythology of gun freedumbz

And had absolutely no limitations on ownership of arms. The government even loaned private citizens cannon. I'm fine with schools being no carry zones, if you're find with abolishing some restrictions on firearms ownership.

Funny, your 'compromise' didn't describe you giving anything up. Just as I described, compromise to anti gunners means just gun owners giving up their rights.

You’ve been proven a liar several times in this thread, I’m not going to rehash it all. You know.

I don’t want to abolish the entire Bill of Rights, but it could use an overhaul to reflect a changed society. You have heard of amendments, can you define what that word means?

This last post of yours reeks of spastic desperation.

There would not need to be an update if the court had continued to interpret properly and as it had done for ~200 years

Has anyone asked a family member of someone deceased from gun violence if they compromised "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" or the right to "peacefully assemble" (protected by the amendment right before the one the protects gun ownership)?

    Asking for a friend.

Yea, I'm sure someone feels that way.

I also have known survivors of illegal mass state violence, or domestic violence who feel very much the opposite.

But i'm glad you guys are starting to be honest. You're not willing to compromise, you don't care about any deaths in this country other than involving guns, you don't believe in the entire bill of rights, and get off on the idea of law abiding gun owners getting their doors kicked in. You do not value individual rights, of any sort, and society should be entirely skewed towards the collective, because N Korea, the CCP, the Japanese Empire, and the Soviet Union were all just too individualistic and not collective enough.

lol. this is the same thing you've done repeatedly. You claim I've been 'proven' to be something but NEVER show any proof.

THings you've claimed WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE:

That I openly fantasize about civil war, that I make violent threats, fantasize about violence and now, that I'm a liar. I didn't lie. I assumed meadow skipper wasn't 100% hypocritical when he accused me of not being willing to compromise. I was wrong. I didn't lie, but I can admit I was wrong.

But this is all you've got. You can't actually prove shit because you're making this stuff up, so you gaslight as say 'its been proven'. Then you say its 'just a joke' when you ask if anyone can provide my address so you can harass me with the cops.

This is who you are a mnipulative person with a desire to control others, who tries to threaten because they can't actually debate anything.

    You are the liar here.

    Textbook NPD gaslighting.

In your third paragraph, I’ve never posted that you fantasize about civil war, that you’ve made violent threats or that you fantasize about violence. That makes you a liar.

Every poster here can see your lies and manipulation. Simply stating something doesn’t make it true. You’re so caught up in your own self righteousness that you posted lies in your last post saying you’re not a liar. Those things have been posted here but not by me. Again it’s pretty sad watching someone desperately trying to be right but so detached from reality.

Leeroy has been caught spreading lies and gaslighting and just making shit up and declaring it factual many, many times in this thread.

That - coupled with his narcissism, entitlement, and inability for self reflection (likely due to a fragile paper thin ego) make it a futile and worthless endeavor to engage him in any sort of discussion. He, like the saying, will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience (at being a disingenuous troll who needs to play the special victim role - probably because his real life is empty and friendless - though he will claim it’s not)

When he feigns incredulity and says “when I have ever done what you accuse me of?! Show me examples” we can now, due to how many times he’s been caught in his own bullshit, just refer to this whole entire thread. It’s a magnum opus of bullshit by our resident “geniuos”.

We all know this. It’s been said often. Yet people still engage with him. Maybe we should ban anyone who quotes Leroy.

Leroy doesn’t bother me at all. I never read his crap, unless someone sneak in a quote.

But any intersection with him is just wasted effort, and it fouls the thread, like crapping in the water supply.

I moved this over here for juxtaposition, but interested observers may find the original thread here.

I’m chuckling to find this post after all the column-space you’ve written in opposition to any regulation in the “if only” thread

especially in light of how many safety rules are already in place in the movie industry vs general US society

    Weird, right?
But nice to see some sympathetic logic from him, even if he doesn’t deploy it in this thread. At least we know he’s capable of considering dangers to public health/safety if he wanted to get beyond his political tribalism.

Ironically, his advocacy didn’t have any logic in the context of the other thread either. Consistently dumb

It's funny how our resident gun fans are always talking about how "everyone should always clear a gun when it's handed to them" and "any gun owner knows to take it seriously and only point it at something you want to kill", but what we see in the news is that people are absolute goddamn morons with their firearms. It's almost as though we need some kind of system of licensing and regulation to make sure that people know all those things that are supposed to be common sense for all gun owners.
