the latest iterations of the wren should blow past iterations of that ski out of the water wrt hard snow prowess due to the titanal in the construction. The pro should be the best of the bunch with their longer contact lengths and less aggressive rocker lines / splay. Sure, they will not magically transform into Völkls wrt precision, but then again they will retain the soft snow prowess they've always had aka still being fairly loose for what they are while still being able to rally.

(based on my time on multiple iterations of the 108, the 114 and the 96 - the latter both with and without titanal.

oh, snap - I wish I had some cash to spend just about now: an additional 100 bucks off remaing 2024 stock skis (excluding RES skis) on top of the sale price!

I definitely have a good dose of FOMO, and sad to see the Wren line going away

Ended up getting the 185s as a lot of my skiing is still east coast and I generally prefer tight trees and survival skiing. As advertised, it's a great DD and there haven't been too many times I was wishing I was on a longer ski (I'm 183cm, 80kg)

I have an old pair of 191 Wrens, 113 waist I think. Honestly pretty fun and not as one-dimensional as I thought they would be. I also have 184 Wren 108s and 88s but they're for Tele use

I hope metal becomes a touch easier to get because I think a woodsman ti would be awesome.

$599 for new Jeff 118s was too good for me to resist. Will be interested in how they compare to my beloved BGs. Still thinking about the BGs in the Factory Finds, but will need to unload a few things first.

Did any non-On3p-affiliate get on the new BGs?

If that code works for Factory Finds ….. sheeeeet, well I literally just bought used 182 Wood Eagle BGs earlier this week.

Code only works for FY24 stock skis, not Factory Finds. Trust me, I tried!

Anyone love J118s in spring slush? Was surpris to find them more fun than my Wren 98s in wet and heavy conditions. Am I just weird?

Different ski, but 186 Kartel 116 could have been the best slush ski I've ever been on. I absolutely hated them on spring mornings on frozen ocean, couldn't find balance point or feel confident.. but as soon as the sun kicked in, they were uber surfy, the width disappeared, and I could lean into them with a lot of confidence. A revised version in the J118 sounds fun in spring!

I wanted BO118s to surf like this in slush, but they just don't. They are still great in spring, more so on that frozen ocean, but they feel more traditional outside of fresh snow and chop, not really surfy.

I generally think my most fun powder ski will be my most fun slush ski. Not a surprise on the J118. Very excited to get back on them.

Caylors(120uf 1st iteration of Jeff line)are my DD. They shred spring conditions and generally have the highest fun factor in my quiver, but for corn to mank nothing beats Bluehouse Maven.
    So, no, you're not weird

Glad they’re getting the love!!! They are damned fun! My Jeffrey 118’s are just the replacement I was hoping for…

Agreed on wide skis in spring slush. If it's truly soft, my jeffrey 122s are the move.

Site still showing the 186 Mango Goats for me. XavierD’s response to them actually got me thinking about 186s over 191s, as tree skis.

I've been telling myself I need to fill out the 94-104mm part of my quiver before I buy any more wide skis, but wide skis are more fun!

In my opinion, a single 88-94 waisted ski for truly awful snow and then you can go straight to 108 and bigger … at least out west!
I’m planning that Enforcer 94, Woodsman 110, and BG118 will cover 100% of my resort needs next year.

My 100mm pair is full rocker with long radius and surprisingly not THAT much worse in Sierra cement than BGs lol. 85% as good by my seat of the pants quantifier.

I have nothing thinner. I need some actual thin skis that aren’t so greasy in super firm.
