nein - stock skis so stock (blue) bases

I usually cannot be bothered to change the base graphic when going custom - I can't seem em when I ski, so I do not really care that much. The new chevron green one, point breaks, mangos, hawaiian alpine, woodland, duck and eh! are all fairly awesome.

Might be worth giving them a call before stopping by. I grabbed some skis to demo from them when I was in Portland/Mt Hood a few years ago and they were super helpful, but there's not really like a formal retail space or ski shop or anything. It's basically a lunch room, Scott's office, then all the ski manufacturing equipment in the other rooms. Caveat that this was ~5 or so years ago and things may have changed.

Yeah. Stopped by and it was a no-go. No big deal. It’s not like I was gonna buy a pair of skis right the.

Even with today being close to 100 degrees in SLC Scott and team along with UPS delivered a good amount of stoke!

My first ever customs from On3p landed! Very impressed by these builds and the quality control.

    yikes!

I am very curious how J124s skis compared to C&Ds. I love the latter, but have been thinking about ordering the former in a if money was now object kinda scenario. I am also very curious and would like to know how J118s and J124s compare.

J108+ripper & J124s just makes too much sense as a one two sucker punch kinda quiver for snow rich resorts.

Anyone get out on the Jeff 110/118 Tour? I'm in the market for a new touring ski and I spend 85% of my resort skiing on my Jeff 110s I got from optics. It just gets me.

So was kinda thinking that might be a good option. Other skis considering are Pagoda Tour and maybe the new black crows draco.

Cy wrote a review of the jeff118s last year - he seemed to get along with them exceedingly well

Yes, found my self on the J110 so often I got the J110 tour. Mounted on the line. About 12 days on them so far and they ski all most identical to the stock ones, aside from being lighter. I ski mellower stuff when touring, but I did ski some bad/funky conditions and they performed with all the flexibility and stability one would expect from ON3P.

    181 j100 rr vs 186 j108 vs 186 j118

j100 rrs are a bit softer than I thought they would be - it will be interesting to try them. J108s are nicely supportive throughout, so I wonder if the j100 flex is a 181 vs 186 thing or if it mostly due to the 100s being meant to jib and slarve around the mountain and in the park whereas the j108s are more off piste skis. J118s just seem dialed - yet I am keen to try them b2b with BlackOps 118s to see if they perhaps could benefit by some more secret sauce wrt their construction.

The 181 j100s are about the same length as 184 Sender Free 110s, so potentially J108 186s could be a sweet ski for people who want the SF110 but find the 184 to be too short and 191 to be too long. Though to be fair, that comparison would perhaps make even more sense if it was possible to order J108s with a partial titanal insert underfoot (like Sf110s) to improve hard snow prowess.

Looking at replacing my 188 Faction Dictator 3.0s daily driver with something more durable after blowing the edges out on minor contact with granite. Loved the performance of that ski in most conditions besides tight bumpy tree lines and deep pow in tighter trees. So the question is: Woodsman 100 0r 108? and 186cm or 191cm? or something else?

I'm 6'2" 200+ lbs. Mostly Rocky Mountain skier, aggressive, loose, and by no means expert, although I like to billy goat into sticky situations and try to figure them out . mostly seek out steep tight stuff.

Love the durability of my older BGs 116s and would love to have that in my quiver as a daily driver mid season.

108 191s. I would not be afraid of sizing up at your weight/height, even if the 186 will prob be the same lenght as your 188s Factions.

Perhaps reach out and ask if they would be willing to make you a wood108 with titanal through the custom program - they might still have some titanal in stock.

The regular wood will still be fairly damp, but still not have the same precision as a titanal - or dual layer titanal layer like the dictator - ski. The woods should outperform the dictator by a considerable margin in deeper snow though, by both being looser (if you want them to be) and float a lot (++++) better.

The wood92 looks like an interesting ski. Didn't plan on adding anything this year, but may have to reconsider in a 50/50 layup for adventure touring, which is a definite gap in my current horde.

I had to look up the "Good Elk" and wonder if there is any interesting story behind incorporating the Black Elks Lodge into the topsheet.

Has anyone in here weighed a pair of newer 186 Jeffrey 108s? I just ordered a pair of the 2024s on sale that I'm stoked on but was surprised to see the listed weight at 2050g as previous years were 200g or so heaver (I think?).

They'll be doing some slackcountry duty as my daily drivers so I'm quite happy with that weight but just curious if there's any noticeable changes from previous versions?
