Some high camber BG prototypes too
Some high camber BG prototypes too
Those BG protos and the Jeff 118s would look refreshingly blue with the new pivots that are starting to pop up for preorder

How far the other way on camber could you go with BG protos? Would flat camber BGs be too greasy for all but deep snow?
Couldn’t resist adding some BG tours to the quiver at the blem price!

Nice score Power Sauce!
Wow those look so good! I would buy the ones in factory finds if I didn't have Blackops 118s. If I skied more dry powder I could easily see having both in the quiver.
I bet the Jeff 118s will float a lot better and be more surfy in spring slush.

...and now I'm contemplating a pair of Woods 92...
Since the cambered was lowered for this year I wonder if the the higher camber is just the previous generations camber profile.
Don't get me going, I'll get in trouble again lol. The high camber BGs are for the Rockies shredders and for Kid Kapow's experimentation. Of all people, I cannot complain about people wanting to mess with the BGs.
I want an AEV Soupeygoat now, that's a slightly softer 189 2017 BG with flat camber. I've come full circle... Can't use my ARG IIs as much as I want to, and they are a bit heavy (close to 2750g/ski) and stiff like Monster 108s. They're gonna need 30 more pow days at least before broken in. BGs when done right are the next best thing to R/R, and so much more versatile. I'd buy something like the older designs (2015 or 2017) in a heartbeat. I can't wait to hear more reviews of the updated version.
I have a 187 BG 117 (dazzle camo, 2 mounts) and 187 Woodsman 110 tour (1 mount) that are collecting dust. PM if interested
186 Jeffery 100 ripper vs 186 Jeffery 110
Findings and Initial thoughts.
Pulls about 187.1 and the mount is about 4.65 back from center and flexes ever so slightly stiffer.
The profile feels like it will for sure be better on firm as well as a bit more drivable for a freestyle ski.
I’m very excited to get on this thing early season at Alta to get a feel for this mount and profile. I think they will be killer for how I like to Ski.

My wallet would like to say a big "fakk youse".
I was doing so well in resisting buying more skises, but that dam(n) received a few catastrophic cracks earlier today...
Oh well - For Science! continues. I guess I can eat stuff out of the freezer for the next month...
Maybe on paper, the metal+rubber in the Mfree has way different energy transfer over bamboo.

sure, but imagine a bamboo + (partial) metal + ripper jeff108. Titanal to add torsional precision, bamboo + glass + extra thick bases/edges to provide a smooth ride, further enhanced by said metal. I think it could be something special.
I made a pretty half ass attempt at trying to convince Iggy to build me a pair of such a ski, but alas - I can't afford to go custom this summer so sized up on a pair j108s instead. To be fair, I never heard back from Iggy if that was something they were willing to do and at what cost, and I know that their stock of titanal is running low - so it could've been a non-starter. The idea gets me all kinds of excited though - especially with the goat graphic I made for the NS worst top sheet ever contest (that everybody else hates and that I love).
Is the only way to get a Jeff 100 with a non yellow TS by doing customs? I’d grab a Jeff 100 with ripper rocker and thr blue ts all day. Just don’t like yellow.
Go custom - it'll cost you the same as the stock ripper j100s on sale on the site right now with the code CUSTOM25
Rippers will be custom only for the 100 and up skis going forward, stock on the narrower skis. That is what I seem to recall.
So to answer your previous post, if you do not want j100s in the concept camo on offer on the site right now, going custom is the only option. They are not offered as with a ripper rocker with the yellow 24 J100 graphic outside of two protos that were sold through the factory finds or if you choose that graphic when ordering as a custom (as you won't do hating yellow).
