Xpost from Bobby’s carfax thread as I’m still just kind of bewildered by this little trip. I can see how Wild Things was set in south Florida now, except I didn’t get the Neve Campbell/Denise Richards threesome treatment and instead got to see the intersection of the incredibly affluent and uneducated swamp rats.

I just spent a few days in Naples; what a weird fucking place. Lambos and Bentleys, trucknuts and "Salt Life"ers, retired NYC cops and a sea of geriatrics, MAGA and tract housing developments as far as the eye can see.

I can see how Bobby could get eaten alive in a place like that.

I did see some manatees though and that was cool.
