Yo Baron, this Saturday it's $25 tix for anyone skiing in jeans at the village. You are welcome. Here, I mean.

Since we're talking BCC I'm going to assume that we're talking actual buses, which I am all for. There's some pretty big setbacks in the experience these days though. I'll be riding snowbird as long as they have first come first served, which feels critically endangered right now

Some of the commenters on that post are refusing to acknowledge that there's an actual traffic problem that needs solving. BCC was a parking lot for hours every morning last year.

Looks like I'll be heading up on Brighton on Saturday with the kids and won't move my reservation to a further week out. Going to play it safe and get into the mouth of the canyon before 7. Hopefully, the reservation system will start to work and allow people to not race to the mouth of the canyon and queue up for a spot. I can dream can't I?

Talking about parking must be the hottest trend in skiing the last few years.

I watched it go in 2022 but this is much further to the West, all the way to Eddie's. I guess the willows at the bottom that you normally have to pick you way through early season won't be an issue this year.

The Bird was fun today, predictions of a couple inches of fresh seemed to be handily exceeded. Decent coverage where terrain is open, though that’s kind of limited, with only Gadzoom and the tram running (and from the tram you can only ski down towards Gadzoom). Peruvian, with more terrain, opens Saturday.

I wonder if this is going to make the lower canyon chaos even worse. It's not like the parking situation at the S-Curves, Mineral, Cardiff, or Spruces is particularly glorious right now and if parking for touring is even more limited everyone's going to be fighting wedding photographers and Donut Fall munchers for a spot at the Cardiff lot... where UDOT will continue to operate that fucking traffic light to create 4 hours of congestion on the way down.

No Little Cloud? Looked like it was running on the cams a few days ago.

They were running but nobody was riding. I’d much rather do little cloud laps than ski the lower mountain right now. Seems like a no brainier to me but…

Today will be much better down low, only question is: real powder skis? I think so.

They have opened little cloud before Peruvian last few seasons, so it seems odd. I've seen them spinning it too.
