That is a loader, not a grader.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

There are some big slides visible on snowbirds cams this morning. The one in mineral in particular stands out.

A big crown in Old Ladies is definitely not typical, wow.

Anyone have updates on BCC? Got a Brighton season pass and skipped out on last weekend due to the lack of lifts. Looks like there are only 3 lifts right now (snake/majestic/explorer). Anyone know if there are some planned openings for the coming weekend?

I saw on ig that the new crest 6 lift opens on Friday. The post had over 400 comments, all about their new parking reservation

I'm very curious how things will go in that canyon this year. I want to do another season at Brighton at some point but not until it's reached some sort of equilibrium.

Edit: wow people are mad in there. I would be too tbh. How did it go with the first year at Alta? My fear is it would be very difficult to say make a late decision to head up on a Friday if I got enough work done.

The first season of parking reservations at Alta was a success and functioned smoother than I think anyone anticipated.

Alta parking last year was fine. Don’t wanna pay, but that’s how things seem to be nowadays and it was easy enough to get a spot on a crowded weekend when there were freshies. This year I’m staying at Cliff Lodge. Fuck LCC road/traffic on a pow day.

Yep, once I had kids in ski school ,we had to custie up and pay to stay at the cliff. Just too much difficulty trying to get up canyon w kids reliably on any potential powder day. Well worth it last year as we were stuck up there for the April 1 cycle.
