If it's green, smoke it...if it's pink, poke it

First storm of the season. The husky is happy.
So very ruff.

Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to your body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much: I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. Yeah, I was just about to type "she is hot stuff"
Well here’s the day 6 update. She had a lot of anxiety the first couple days, especially meeting someone. Doesn’t help she’s a big powerful lady. Thank Jeebus that a bunch of my buddies are big guys and have pits too. She has really relaxed over the last two days and really enjoys her new life. My Mom and her have started to trust each other too, that’s important. The first time mom met her on day two, I was told I was “fucking nuts and have my hands full”. Today mom was mind blown.
She gets her first vet appt tomorrow, they scanned her for a chip last Friday and she didn’t have one. She will get her check up and shots and definitely a microchip tomorrow. One of my friends is the vet, so it should go well fingers crossed. She’s as sweet as it gets but protective of me. So I will have to get that worked out. It’s not concerning right now, but needs to be tamed for sure. Just don’t need to add to her trauma right now.
My (lunatic) Mother did send a picture of her and a picture of me to some witch doctor mind reader miss Cleo lady in Durango CO and the lady gave a cool reading. But she’s probably smoking bath salts at 8000 feet.
oh ya…. Here’s her tough life today, heated seats, cookies and comfy blankets.

Awwwwww. What a good girl.
Right on Joey. Anyone that saves a dog is a good egg in my book. She clearly needed someone like you in her life. May it be a fantastic one.
