9-week old wire haired lab, dumped by a UT backyard breeder because their dog got frisky with the wrong breed and the pups can't be sold for max $$$. This one also has an underbite, the horror!
Luckily she found her way to a rescue and a foster fam that has a giant property with a whole bunch of critters. She's house trained and already been exposed to other dogs, cats, goats, chickens, you name it, she's chased after it. Super sweet temper, not too rowdy, food motivated, seems like a solid package, I'm sold.
Not that I had any say in the matter. Ms Boissal can't live without a dog and we lost sweet old Lenora almost a year ago, I knew it was coming. The baby is 7 months old and finally sleeping through the night, time to introduce a new dose of chaos into the household. Ugly Kitty's retirement days just got less peaceful...

Nice write up Boissal, looks and sounds like a great dog. Ugly will swat her into submission.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

What a sweet pup! Congrats Boissal. If you round up a pose for some vigilante justice on the breeder let me know.

We just took her home. The introduction to Ugly was hilarious. She walked in, saw the cat, and ran straight through him. He was mid-swipe when she ran him over, he was on his back before he knew what had happened. She went straight for his food bowl, picked it up, ran by him as he was getting up, and dropped it at my feet. Now he's sulking on a heat vent and half heartedly chases her away when she gets close. She's not particularly interested and clearly not scared whatsoever. I think he'll get over himself quickly, he's only interested in dogs that want to be his friends, and by interested I mean he lets them get close then smack them down. Once they're good and scared he proceeds to stalks them around the house/yard until they refuse to come near the house. I think he doesn't know how to react to a dog that doesn't react to his intimidation tactics

Edit: going splendidly so far, she got swiped in the face twice after getting too much in his face and both her eyes are swollen. No damage but dirty cat paw in the eye. Also, she thinks the baby is a chew toy, and the baby thinks she's something to kick in the face. Strong team.

Merry Christmas to all the dogs of TGR. One of Rosie's greatest joys in life is unwrapping presents. Her birthday is 12/21 and as she gets older I find myself taking an extra minute to take all the memories in.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Ha! Pepe looks less annoyed in these Christmas shoots, downright cheery even! And Daisy is a cutie!
