Not just Bama seems like half the SEC is playing middle Mississippi school for the blind today. What a joke to schedule these games at the end of the season.
Each side has 8 teams, so 7 games. Then you rotate through home and aways with 2 from the other side. So, that’s nine games against other SEC teams.

I will refer you to Coach Kirby Smart’s comments last week, paraphrased as if you think the SEC is so weak this year, come get some.

Every bowl season we historically wipe the floor with every other conference in college football. Maybe one day that will change, but until then comments like yours seem ignorant.

Here you go. You’re the ignorant one as they currently play 8 conference games and will continue to do so when Texas and Oklahoma enter the league next year.

What the fuck ever, they changed it when they added teams. It’s been the other way since they split the conference 30 years ago. I’m UGA alum and we always play Auburn and used to rotate through 2 other west teams, now maybe it’s just one, which happened to be Ole Miss this year. Keep an eye on them and see how they do in their bowl game jackass.

I would have never added Mizzou or Texas AM mostly because they’re not in the southeast. Much less Texas or Oklahoma. But, why don’t you keep lawyering your way into explaining how playing in the SEC contributes to such a weak strength of schedule. Only 13 of the last 16 national champions came from the same conference.

I just came here to say that Montana State played a god-awful game today, how the hell can they claim to have the same winning record going into that matchup. And they played like shit in year when Missoula hosted the brawl of the wild. Got stomped in the Garden city for all to see.

    Gah!

Wow, doesn’t take much to get the panties in a bunch of a big tough southern gentleman. Seems like such a southern trait to result to name calling when confronted with a fact.

Well it was. Three losses now by a combined 8pts. Sorry not sorry to play the ref card, but seriously a borderline hold call and pass interference definitely changed the game. Meanwhile, the WA secondary got a lot of grace a fucking lot of grace.

#1 for UW sure can ball. Too many mistakes and penalties to overcome.

Best overall game I’ve seen this year.

The fucking weather was for real. Hard to believe one long snap resulting in a safety could decide it.

The throw to Odunze to seal the win, the exact same throw that beat the ducks.

#1 on both sides of the ball had a game. Corner had it locked down. Good win on a tough night.

Agreed. Pretty questionable one sided call in the unsportsmanlike conduct, too.

If Oregon can get by the Beavs next week, the showdown in Vegas is going to be biblical. Ducks and Huskies are so evenly matched, it's wild.

    Follow me here, though:

FSU loses to Louisville without their QB (not unlikely)
Michigan loses to O State (likely)
Huskies lose to UO (not unlikely)
    GA beats Bama (likely)
    Texas beats Texas Tech (guaranteed)

    You would then have:
1 loss FSU to #10 Louisville
1 loss Oregon to #5 UW
1 loss UW to #6 Oregon
No loss GA and O State
1 loss Texas to #14 OK
2 loss Bama to #7 Texas and #1 GA

Wouldn't it seem logical that you have a CFP with GA, OSU, UW and UO? Am I making that up?

So long as huskies can make it by the cougs next week, which they should but they’ve kept us on the edge of the seat all season

then yes, the rematch in Vegas will be completely nuts.

If the rematch is as closely played as the first game, as a pac 12 fan I could see your case, but the rest of the country would lose their shit! I stand by my previous statement, lose and you’re out. Same with GA/AL and MI/OSU.

But....then you only have two zero-loss teams. You need four in the tournament. If the dice fall as I predicted, who has a stronger argument as one loss teams than UW and UO? Maaaaaybe Texas, but outside of Bama, their schedule was a joke and they lost to OK.

You're forgetting that Texas will be Conference Champions too.. Will Oregon be the PAC champion??

The scenario he’s presenting they would be UW in the conference championship in Vegas. So, yes, Pac12 champs.

I think it makes sense, but I said that up the thread.

For the years when UGA and Bama both made it, a lot of the argument was simply that the SEC was that much better. I think the Pac12 was loaded this year. Ducks look like the most dangerous team in the NCAA right now. Seasoned older QB goes a long way in big games. It’s just a matter of if their defense can hold against bigger O lines, more physical running games.

    *beat UW.

It’s crazy to think OSU and UGA would be 1 and 2 so they would play the U of O and UW. What if they both upset and you had Oregon and Washington face off for the third time of the season for the national championship.

There will be no PAC in the CFP.

Beavs beat the Ducks and then Ducks beat WA in the LV.

CFP will be FSU, UG, TX, and MI or OH

Even if WA goes undefeated, or UofO win-out. I bet there will be some last minute politicin’ that will get AL or MI and OH into the mix.

We’ll see. I just don’t see OSU going into the Bog House and winning.

They gave that game away on their last drive by giving up on the running game

0 points scored by the Huskies in the 2nd half

Move DJ to TE, put in Chile's as QB!

Ohio State (LOL) loses then it's

    1. Georgia
    2. Michigan
    3. Washington
    4. Florida State

If all 4 aren't undefeated then Texas would be the best one loss team remaining.. assuming they win out too..
