Too old to stand up to pee in the middle of the night in the dark.
Liberate yourselves, sit down to pee when it’s more convenient.
And "too old" is relative. You don't have to be 65+ to be too old for something.
13yos are too old to play with Fischer Price Laugh & Learn toys , 25 yos are too old to hang out at the mall. 35 yos are too old to date 17yos etc. etc.
It's more about what you're no longer willing to deal with in life for whatever reason. Might be age. Might be maturity. Might be frustration.

Grumpy comment, but last time I saw Jorma and Jack, Jorma’s age had affected his singing voice (ability to hold a melody without basically grunting or sighing) was very distracting. The playing was still superb, though.

I've seen Billy a few times and $55 for a general admission outdoor venue of 3,000 or so is still doable. I do think Billy has 'made it' by now. I prefer the Shelburne Museum (cap. 2,000) for an outdoor show and have tickets for several upcoming concerts at both the ballroom and showcase at HG in So. Burly. Also, I can go to the box office directly and avoid fees.
If you think two guys on either side of 80 years old aren't 'has-beens' you should listen to some music created after 1985. Their last studio album was 12 years ago., FFS.
We saw them acoustic for free (thanks, bottleman!) last year and they were WAY better than expected. David Bromberg opened and I was disappointed.
That’s excellent to hear, maybe Jorma was just having an off week/night.

We used to go to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass every year but we got to old for the hand to hand combat years ago, not to mention the Yolo Causeway, the Bay Bridge, and SF.
Fuck word art. Which was a crossword puzzle answer this morning. (not the fuck part)
The 30 somethings that occasionally stay at our friends' house a couple doors down are apparently not to old to play beer pong.
Last time we were at the aforementioned HSB the main stage closing acts on Sat night were Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, and Ralph Stanley. All over 80 and none of them close to being has beens--although the genre is certainly more age friendly than say death metal or whatever it is that Mick Jagger does, or did.
Not a corp move. Out of my pocket. But honestly, the packing is easy, it's the purge that is tough and time consuming. The last thing I would want is for them to come pack all the crap we don't want and cannot fit. We're downsizing, so the purge was mandatory. It's been painful but truly feels fantastic. I would never have done it otherwise.
I put it in quotes, for Peruvian's benefit. I'm bummed but I have to be out of town on that date for a celebration of life. I've seen Acoustic Hot Tuna a bunch, but not for many years. I've always wanted to see an electric set. And I love the Flynn. I've been seeing shows there since before I was too young to remember, before it's revival, back when it was primarily a movie theater.
You have no idea what you're talking about with me and music, I'll leave it at that. But their last album? Who gives a fuck? This is about seeing two of the best musicians in Rock history, who can play their asses off still, on what's rumored to be the last electric Hot Tuna tour. If that's not enough reason for you to go see them, just stay home, you'll be happier there.
