Here it comes again, just like Beder said. 5" on the stake in 3 hours this morning. Maybe this is the warm storm that will trigger all those hanging avalanches. Fingers crossed.

    Think pink.

A reset is welcome. Toured up near Galena yesterday. We had good snow but I have never seen so many tracks north of town.

My only shot is catching the rope drop, late morning, if that's the way it plays out. Have fun, should be good.

Snowbasin pass holder here. Heading up for my yearly trip next weekend (2/11).

If any pass holders has any extra 50% off buddy they don't think they are going to use this year my wife would love the discount to lap seattle ridge on saturday 2/11 Thanks!

sorry for the grovel bump - i wish I was delivering pow.

since I bumped the thread like an ass hole groveling for low price tickets I might as well post some stoke.

skied fri and sat. Did all the classic groomers. Was cold as shit Friday morning but warmed up nicely throughout the day. I think my favorite place to ski when it hasn't stormed in awhile is off frenchmans. Great chalky bumps and a good fall line with great tree spacing.

Decided to check out all that new terrain off of Seattle ridge and what a blast all that is. Ducking the rope right out the gate there are fun low angle 'pow' turns.

First time we did it we dropped in on 'numbers' I think. Tighter turns with less glading. Did two more laps where we stayed ob and then ducked back in on sunrise bowl. skied those sun nuked turns and then hit the glades which are a ton of fun as they are all north facing. Chalky fun bumps.

Finished both days with a fire trail top to bottom it's even better (or worse) depending on how you look at it as it turns into monster waist deep single file bumps below the cat track. it's fucking hell punishing single file bumps, you hate it but you love it because it's dumb as shit but rewarding once you exit.

love skiing the valley of the sun. I'll be posting the monster cut of prime rib I got in the appropriate thread

Thank you so much for hopeless for hooking up the friends and family so my wife could ski slow ass laps on seattle ridge. she was stoked to drink her first chair beer with us on mayday lol. She's been coming to sv since she was a kid from alaska and lovse it here but is an absolutely terrible skier but has to ski when she comes. A solid 5 laps for her donation to the holding family.

anyway, sweet blog sorry for writing a bunch but what else is going on here

I trust you are finishing the night off with the classic SV trifecta: Club Dynamite > Casino > Hot Dog at R.J.'s

Yo, and quit throwing your wife under the bus on the skiing front - she may end up grinding on Krazy Karl at Dynamite if you keep that up.

lol we did early dinner service at pioneer and about to hit the sun valley inn pool. We will try and see if we can convince the j1's at the lodge to see if we can swim there but not expecting much success on that front.

still digesting a mountain of prime rib is tough.

also google returns nothing on club dynamite - idk what that is.

Went up to Banner for the first time from Boise. Long ass drive, but its worth it. Explored around skied some easy south facing, but it looks like good zones are finally getting stable! Some stoke included below.Name: IMG_0366.jpg

To all my friends at home - I'm on a 6 week "vacation" in SLC. Snowbasin has gotten 31" since tuesday, Powder Mt. has gotten 37". Your pass will work at Snowbasin, and if you're over 75 (like me), you can ski for free at Powder Mt. Just sayin'.

Hey mags, I'm in town for the weekend, anyone wanna catch a few chairs up here? Not sure how my basin season pass works, but I know it's supposed to somehow.

I’ve only been there for a day so I’m of no use unfortunately but I will say it’s a really fun time there.
    Hope you get change.
