One of my good friends is heading for divorce. Husband is getting more unstable as time goes on and she is pretty concerned about him sharing/posting nude and or incriminating photos of her. Anyone on here have experience about this? Any way to incorporate some language into a separation agreement? Thanks.

That sucks for her. Nothing like having someone you think you can trust hold that shit over you. If she can safely do it, getting ahold of his phone and deleting it all is probably the best course of action, but that may not be in the cards

But had a random conversation a week or so ago with this chick I know whose a social worker we vered deep of course and started talking about the plight of white middle aged man men don't have alot of friends or relationships w other men they either isolate or get swallowed up by their wives friends or kids lives they then (like everyone) gravitate to the internet looking for validation and identity but mostly diving deeper into isolation covid really fucked it up even worse men lacking positive personal activities and actions as well as having close friends is a huge issue not being acknowledged

But yes this being tgr we all be bro'ing it up all the time and shredding the nar so we wouldn't understand

Ha, so true. Ironically, me *not* doing this was a big factor in my divorce, because so many of my ex's friends' husbands were acting that way. Some of my friends I'm worried about if things go south in their marriages in the coming years. Like, hey man, I know you're devoted to your family and that's great but you still need to have your own sense of identity.

It appears that after months of inaction (probably failed attempts) on refi and buyout my STBXW has finally found some motivation to send me an “expedited offer” for division and dissolution. I suppose that my decision to start spending shared funds on a nice big rental and a new stroller, bassinet, etc, etc, had a fine effect. I have truly enjoyed speaking plainly to opposing counsel. Kinda hoping that I can get things ready to wrap up before my new attorney is in on the fun.

I am pretty excited about how much better my life is since initiating this divorce. Best failure ever.

Deleting off the phone may not do anything- there are cloud backups and if it exists at any time then deleting does not remove it many times.

Don't get too caught up in the he said she said and stay out of it, is my advice.

I recall telling the guy who was shagging my ex during our divorce something along the lines of, "I know you probably think I'm some raging asshole, but one day you'll see." So I run into him a few weeks ago and he shakes his head and says, "You were right." lol... so satisfying.
