The North end of the valley is notoriously the hottest, due to the lack of much air movement (resisting urge to snark about political hot air output). You'll note how Redding and Red Bluff aren't predicted to have any significant chance of breaking any records. The biggest concern is more fire related.

I was just looking at the thermometers at people’s houses and the temps on the bank displays. We were mostly out by Cottonwood. One bank display in Redding read 122. I don’t know, it was fucking hot. Originally Posted by neufox47
