Damn this thread is awesome. We have some catching up to do I guess. My girls are 4 and 6 and we just got on snow this season. Mount Hood used to be such a trek but now that we're 20 minutes from a small mound here in northern Minnesota, we can bop over and be done in 2-3 hours. The danger is they get frostbite (was a high of 5°F yesterday) or hungry. They're always fucking hungry no matter how much we feed them.

    Competitive princesses:

Giant's Ridge has some good teenage girl instructors that have been a good catalyst for my kids because I'm a shitty instructor-dad. I gave up. They've improved.

Day 4, she really wants poles in the worst way.

Hi, this is a reminder that hackers have been getting into accounts with stsle old passwords and causing mayhem scamming people in gear swap.

Update your passwords, be wary in gear swap, report suspect activity!

My son has the 180 down and throws it all over the place. But he has a mental block and can’t go for the 360. Unfortunately for him, his old man is of no help.

same for my kid w the 180's. He spent most of Sunday trying to land 360's. Got real close a couple times. Was pretty determined but we/he ran out of time. maybe next wknd...

One of these days we will have to get our kids to take some laps. They seem about the same age. If you see these neon helmets ask for change.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMDw13ncYyw. Old Roger Moore couldn’t ski to save his life but James Bond is probably responsible for as many great skiers as the Beatles are great guitarists and songwriters.

Classic dad grunt as you entered the first tunnel. It's the "oh fuck my kidneys" sound.

Could have been way worse at the end when he crossed over to mama I was way turned around trying to keep the camera level. I almost high sided onto my repaired shoulder.

The 12 year went full speed into the B net (can’t figure out how to insert a video) on her first SG training run. Bent skis, bent poles and destroyed a mitten. She was thankfully fine. Raced the following 3 to a 15th and 2 20th places in her first ever super g races. So proud that she was able mentally strong enough to strap back in. Def took her foot off of the gas though!

If u figure out how to post the video it may discourage every reader of this thread from ever allowing their kids to race super g. That crash was nasty!

Awesome that she got after it again!

If detrusor is a bad father for letting his kids go too fast, then maybe sin someone should call cps on me...

Kiddo busted out a bunch of laps then quickly realized after missing a couple turns that shredding pow was more fun than ice.

Having too much fun! Life is good.
