The binary is easy. Whole lot of grey in between, from making one comfortable as the face their fate, to no stops back from the brink and beyond. Triage sucks.

Reason she got tested ? On Friday as she was getting off a cruise ship in Florida they pointed a temperature gun at her and detected fever. They made her get tested and bingo. Vax was required to get on ship. I know she is unvaxxed so obviously used a fake card. Isn’t lying covered by the Ten Commandments ?

I could honestly care less if she lives or dies at this point.

Sounds like a standard RW selfish dirtbag. Hope they investigate her card and she gets charges.

However. I assumed the chip folks above are serious. Because the news is not good these days regarding the Qtards. Mea culpa.
I'd guess making a joke. After all, the guy was getting the shot, so not seriously Q. How many cell reception jokes have their been on this forum.

Seems like handling snakes is more dangerous than Covid.

Re who gets care--there is a precedent. In the early days of kidney dialysis there were panels who decided who got to use the limited number of machines. Precedence went to young, people with families to support. If it ever comes to that I hope the decision isn't left up to providers in the trenches. The standards need to be made ahead of time with plenty of input--perhaps most of the input--from non-medical people.

IME lay people don’t know anything and always push to “do everything” when it comes to their loved ones even if our interventions are hopeless.

I've heard the same Anti-vax silliness on both sides of the line cuz Glen Beck is just a click away where ever you are but I just wonder if there is less of it up here cuz the death figures are no where near as bad ?

Where’s that “justify atheism” thread? I’m starting to think there just may be a god, and she’s got a pretty good sense of humor.

Yes. Before people start talking about denying care they should be talking about pulling the plug sooner when chances of survival are minimal. Maybe that's already happening--I'm armchair doctoring here. Unfortunately these are decisions that have to be made by the treating team, not by panels.

Since the area of what is now Israel and the West Bank was conquered by Alexander in 332BC and since the area later came under Greek rule it would not be surprising if Jesus had some non-Semitic blood and a less Semitic appearance. (Alexander was considered by Jews to be a benign ruler, at least compared to previous conquerors. Alexander is one of the few non-Old Testament names Jews traditionally gave their children. Of course nowadays it's more likely for a Jewish girl to be named Alex than a Jewish boy.)

Under the Greeks some Jews did not circumcise their children, which led to severe divisions in Jewish society, not unlike the divisions between pro and anti vaxers today. And now we're back on topic.

Vehement anti-vaccine rocker Eric Clapton has put out what appears to be a musical rant against pandemic restrictions and vaccines.
