Local club has restarted their group rides, rained out last night, tonight was perfect weather for hammering in Cheshire County. 45 miles avg speed 21.2, FTP bump also!

Took on some newer trails today with mixed reviews. The trail builder really likes twisty tight turny trails. Maybe a symptom of having to build through managed timberland. Still good times though and not all the new stuff is in that style.

3 year olds first trip without Mom or big sister earlier this week with a bike in camping trip to Granite Srpings in Cuyamaca State Park.

    Set up:

    Still good amount of flowers:

Kid loves flowers. It is only 1k ft gain (first 3.5 miles) and about 6 miles total into camp, but being warmest part of day and extra ~80 lbs weight on bike, I didn't mind stopping. Stopped around 3 times and she enjoyed exploring.

Camp. She really liked playing in the dirt and the tent:

Short ride from camp next morning without gear on bike:

Other than little up hill out of camp, ride back to truck next morning was all down hill...I liked that and kid liked going fast:

Silvers Bike Park Opened today; trails were Prime but they only threw 25 cabins on the gondy line that you could put bikes in. Got to the bottom after 1 lap and said fuck that!

Hope they get their shit together quickly..

Thought Powerline (and everything in the Two Creeks area incl Valhalla, Valkyrie, etc) was in the wildlife closure?

e: never mind, it appears I am incorrect!

They did have the bottom of Valhalla closed yesterday. They are inspecting the haul cable on the Gondi and had it on the ground.
