I have what I believe is the cheapest one from Amz. It was like $42, and works fine. The battery life is comically short though. It goes for maybe 10 mins, so we just leave it plugged in all the time (it won't work when plugged in though).
Stretching is also not proven to help (hurts, actually). Massage is questionable at best. I think the percussion thing is useful for specific muscle knots in my back/shoulders, but not so much for the quads.
It turns out that we just have to rest after we go out and wreck ourselves with a 350 TSS ride. I miss being 23 and able to do that nearly every day.
ride bikes, climb, ski, travel, cook, work to fund former, repeat.
