Electric snowmobiles would be a welcome addition to the Yellowstone winter experience...

Until the ravens and coyotes eat out the wiring harness in search of Timberridge's half eaten sandwich. Now he's got to ride double with Jimmy from St. Louis for the next 3.5 hours.

Oh, yeah, they did that a while ago. I did the snowmobile excursion into the south entrance to Old Faithful in 1990 or so, and, yeah, all two cycle. I felt embarrassed when we came back to the parking area after watching that damn thing blow with about 150 sleds idling. Enough to make Bambi cry and cough a little.

Bunny, when that supervolcano blows one day it's gonna make more than a few coyotes cough.

Don't animals have a preternatural instinct to get the fuck out when a natural disaster is coming? My guess is all the wolves and coyotes will have overrun the main office in Wilson searching for sandwiches on their way north to Canada long before the supervolcano blows.

The only ones left in the park will be shitbirds with asthma.

With that sense of direction, it's no wonder it's taking so long to define the boundaries of Upstate New York.

Asthmatic Shitbirds would be a terrific band name.

The sandwiches are in Wilson, not Canada.

But yeah, it's a meandering expedition.

I'm not gonna say it but you know some cheap bastard here is gonna tell you that can be made with a jar of Hellmans and some sriracha in a $0.79 squeeze bottle from Bed Bath and Beyond.

And I'll gladly inquire as to why said cheap bastard hates 'merica. Then I'll ask for pics of his/her sister's tits. Around and around it goes.

I'd rip their album off Kazaa just based on the name alone.

I'd suggest Duke's mayo, but you're right. For that store-bought feel, stick with the big brands.

In my experience of driving across this great country many times is that the Flying J, despite all instinct to the contrary, especially in these Covid-y times, are the most spotless restrooms on the road.

Chick fil a is the only ones that are better but not as substantial, and most of em in the Northern states are closed on the insides anyway.

Although, this thread has raved about the benefits of the New York Thruway Rest Stops and their Taste of NY shops so that may be the way to go as well.

Let’s be clear: NY Thruway rest stops are the gold standard of rest stops. Not kidding.

We certainly avoided them as much as possible in the ‘80s...

Ha! When a client would apologize for the stale the coffee from the breakroom I'd laugh and say "Tastes great! I'm used to coffee from the Thruway" and they knew what I meant.

edit: I think I saw me at Frontier Town in the vid.

When I saw the caller id come up with 315 on the shop phone I was strangely interested to answer the call. I made an appointment for rich a new customer to come in for some issue with his car - he drops off this am and of course after polite introductions and agreeing on game plan for car , as he’s walking away ; “ hey where are you from ?”

    buffalo

He thinks once you get out of Westchester it begins.

Although I don’t think he had had any uc lately judging by the looks , Just offering data here. That’s all.

I feel like I have an expert witness, He’s probably not gonna be in the trees at lab or off in the ungrooomed side at Greek

This thread is powerful I tell you.
