Anyone else get a survey from Bachelor in their email account? Got one yesterday. I told them I couldn't recommend their ski resort to anyone. It has a section to expand on that, and I said, I didn't want anyone coming to my hill during the COVID, and thus could not recommend it. Plus, their parking reservation system sucks for asking for cc information.

Only other complaint was they could do a better job spacing the rows at the lifts. They ain't spaced 6' apart.

Otherwise the parking attendants and lifties have been super cool.

That survey was poorly done - certainly not designed for pass holders.
I filled mine out Monday afternoon, before the parking/credit card clusterfuck.
My points were otherwise the same as yours. I suggested Mt B mgt go to Hoodoo to see how they manage mask compliance and spacing.

Isn’t there some sort of “please don’t come to Deschutes County” proclamation in effect? It’s wall-wall cone lickers on Cascade in Sisters this PM

And another fine day of groomer zoomin’ at the Doo with Jonesy and our buddy Ben. If ya can’t have pow...

Ben and I helped build Jonesy’s brand as an instructor by telling his student how we owe our skiing proficiency to him, and then demonstrated our best fold-at-the-waist-chicken-wing-tuck-power-wedges. Yer welcome mi amigo.

Happy Xmas, Kwanzaa, Yule and Festivas to you filthy maggots. Storms are comin’

My son in law was the Hodag while in HS. Said little kids would kick him and whack him with ski poles.

It was good. Real Good! Skied 10-2. No lift lines, parking lot was empty at ten. Lots and lots and lots of untracked of varying depths by noon. Throughout the day conditions just kept getting better and better, happy to say my tradition of skiing on Christmas Day has been revived. Minor low angle stoke when I get back to computer tomorrow.

The New and improved Oregon 2020/2021 Ski Season Thread

Everyone else too busy getting deep to blabber today? It was deep this morning. Wet and thick stuff though, pretty packed and scraped down to crust in places. At least it’s still coming down.

Gotta love the entry level slowboarders who drop into Grandstand and make boarderouy ... thanks but no thanks, this gully does not need grooming on a pow day! (Spoken by a backseat slowboarder himself!)

Pleasantly surprised by the fresh snow this morning, and low crowd levels was a nice late Xmas present.

    Well Done Toadman.

Today was fun... until it wasn't... (Mostly because the over crowded gaper quotient was high.) Two days of classic Oregon Skiing. Had many smooth untracked episodes of joy. Tflat lifties are amazing. I have to call their lift manager and thank them. Had 'masks up' all the way back despite gargantuan lift lines today.

    Blustery today at MHM
Not much fresh, but enough to soften turns in general
4.5 bowl was surprisingly deep [boottop?] at noon (presumably all wind transport)

Definitely was a nice chill vibe at Bachy today. Nice that Outback and NWX were spinning early, which really helped spread out the very thin crowds. I guess folks really let loose for Christmas, and were late to get going. Hardly ever waited in line anywhere.

How were the lines and parking situation ? Don't think I'll get a chance to make head up until Tuesday.
