And Whyturn how do you posting assorted pics of different areas and different days have anything to do with my opinion for how today was? You posted some pictures of some mountains. Great, thanks, now I know that mountains are beautiful and skiing is cool......... oh no wait, I have known that for decades.

You could have just as easily IGNORED my post, said to yourself "well I guess this guy has different standards", then made a whole other unrelated post saying "hey guys look how cool skiing is" without any mention of me. But no, you decided to vehemently disagree with my opinion and somehow try to invalidate my opinion by posting pics of other days and other areas as your way of saying "YOU'RE WRONG!!!!! SCREW YOU!!! DAMN YOUR NEGATIVITY!!!"

Yet I am the combatant here?

LOVE Sheldon dressing up for the season.! I have had his cousins eating my grass and the entire field next door for over a week. Last time I lay salt lick out for the elk.

Then maybe you should start a thread entitled "WASATCH STOKE AND STOKE ONLY!" and not try to wage war against someone posting their observations and their opinion on conditions in the "WASATCH STOKE, CONDITIONS, and OBSERVATIONS" thread. Perhaps?

I went to Nordic valley last night and skied for $19. I don’t care if it’s one lift and called bear paw. If you don’t like Alta go somewhere else. Just quit being negative. There is enough negative right now and just be the good. Sorry I don’t have any pics from last night I was too busy shredding the bunny slope. I mean that seriously as I was shredding the bunny slope at Nordic with some stoked kids.

    Anyone spotted Santa yet?

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

While I don't enjoy getting into this Nancy shit, the 12:46 post is exactly why people are cold to you. I can't wait to discover your alias, because no one new would come here and intentionally spew so much bullshit.

This. No way Kevin is real, bored alias waiting for a solid base to get out and ski more is my guess.
But if he is real, oooooooooooh boy is this going to be fun.

If y'all want to find out if he is real, we could have a ski off. I'll need to start a fundraiser though cause I don't have an LCC pass this year.

You went to Nordic Valley. Great. And do you see me telling you that you actually really had an awful time there instead of the good time you say you had? No. I went to Alta. It wasn't one of my top days. But let's have a freakin 2 page argument about why I am not allowed to have that opinion and how if every single day I ski in my life isn't the most epic day ever then that means I'm negative?

Oh I got a better idea! Why don't you just IGNORE me if you don't agree with my OPINION or better yet if you disagree with my OPINION then post something relevant disproving my OPINION. Maybe something like, "actually dude I was first chair on Wildcat and I did get freshies before it got all cut up 2 minutes later".... Oh but hey, any opinion that is different than yours is just "being negative" so why even try.

Please tell me what bullshit I have spewed??? That the canyon wasn't closed at 730? That people in Wildcat did watch all Alta employees do laps for over an our before opening? That it wasn't tracked out? That it wasn't crowded? What EXACTLY is this bullshit? Or is me merely saying this wasn't the most epic ski day ever in the history of Alta the "bullshit"? The only bullshit is you calling bullshit without saying WHAT along with multiple people wanting to argue pages over my opinion on a ski day they could have just as easily as ignored. Then you guys would all be in a circle jerk about how this was the most amazing ski day ever and I would be on my other computer either trading currencies or answering emails. Win win for everyone. But no lets keep arguing about this.

I haven’t skied Alta since June. How is Johnson’s and stimulation holding up? One of my favorite areas for warm ups. Is it filled in?

Mid June was still pretty good

So I'm "off my meds" just because I point out that the canyon wasn't closed at 730 and that there were 30 minute long lines?

And keep filling this Wasatch thread with pointless irrelevant posts. The others have decided to move on but you just want to keep going. That is fine by me. Probably not appreciated that much by the others though.

I'm still not out in SLC for my yearly winter migration - heading out soon and I am psyched. I don't even care if it snows, just want to get outside and ski. Does anyone have any beta on Solitude opening more terrain? PH still looks pretty bony from the cams but skiable enough.

Yeah all us "low emotional iq" guys who served in the military during war time as teenagers. That is us. Everybody knows only "low emotional iq" guys can do the military. All the "high emotional iq" people obviously go straight into some liberal arts college with Playdooh and puppies for whenever it gets too stressful then gets out with a high paying tech job at a company whose biggest department is HR in order to tend to all the "high emotional iq" graduates.

You just want to turn this whole thread into being about me uh? Ok that's cool. I would think most you would prefer to keep it skiing related but if you keep wanting to make all these posts for me to reply to then so be it.

What the others don't appreciate is the fact that YOU can't let go with your inane drivel. You keep claiming it wasn't the greatest day ever, fine, but everyone else was stoked and has at least posted something positive instead of shitting and moaning about currency trading and inaccuracies in the reporting of canyon traffic.
Post stoke or STFU. It's fucking simple. Nobody would be arguing with you if you hadn't started your morning with a contrarian post.

Here's one from 12/18 last year to try and get things back on track. It wasn't the best day but it sure was a good day. Just like all days on skis.

Don't worry guys. I got this one. I have learned how to respond around here now....

STOP!!! STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE!!!!! I made the same observation early this week and we had to spend 2 pages talking about how negative such an observation is so JUST STOP!!! Solitide is the greatest ski mountain ever even with only 4 green runs! You should just be happy about it and stop being so negative! Fact is even with just 4 green runs open Verbier still has nothing on Solitude! So either say something nice about Solitude's 4 open greens or don't say anything at all!! Solitiude does not need more terrain open! It needs LESS people like YOU who don't appreciate the terrain that is open!

btw i've been digging those CD104L's, they float super fucking well and are a ton of fun in most all conditions. i was amazed at how well they handled chop when exiting down supreme this past weekend, they feel very damp and stable
