    Re:
The union of Canada and Blue America here how it goes down:.

Canada and WA, CA, OR invades Mt and N Dakota and Idaho. To connect WA to the upper midwest.

Colorado National Guard moves north capturing Wyoming.

Yeah yeah wackos will resist. But those towns are small and isolated from the Red State redoubt of Southern Moronia, No Ho chi min trail through Kansas plains.

The big battle will be the battle of Salt Lake City. Once won, the trade routes from CA to CO to MT to MI to New England will be flowing.

The free US will have all the Pacific ports and trade with asia and S America will flourish. The EU will not trade with Moronia and their ports will be decimated. No Panama canal, so even black market attempts will have to navigate the straights of Magellan. Of course Arg and Chile will be on the Free Us’s side and will patrol those waters.

The blockade on Southern Moronia will be just like to what happened to the Treasonous Confeds 150 years ago.

The Free US will seed black, native, and hispanic community insurrections in all of the moronia states. M16s, genade launchers, land mines, guerrila sabotage, and a righteous cause of hundreds of years of oppression will mean white Southern Moronia will realize their worst fears about race wars.

Yeah Bill Bob will have a tenacious fighting spirit and and a semi or converted to auto. But after 24 months of no food and supplies even Moronia will come around and realize the futility of the fight.

Maybe have a 2nd march through Georgia but through Multiple states just to make sure the message stays imbedded in Moronia for another 150 years.

But, as the chopper approached the block, fireworks were aimed at the helicopter, forcing it to remain at safe distance before going away.

The scene, that several media have called “a reckless show of defiance”, was filmed from the helicopter as well as from neighbours. Some videos posted on Youtube and on news websites, include scenes filmed by those who were taking part in the BBQ on the roof of an apartment block. “These people are nothing but idiots. We will track them down and they will face the full force of the law,” said Mayor of Palermo Leoluca Orlando.

Jesus, I work in a hospital where there have been several deaths and we’ve got more than a dozen folks on vents, I’ve been in the room with positive patients and wouldn’t claim to be “living this shit”.

ROME—Italian newscaster Alessandro Politi was shocked when he tested positive for COVID-19 on March 11. He and other colleagues were swabbed out of an abundance of caution after a co-worker contracted the virus. The 30-year-old had a slight fever and a sore throat, but none of the chest tightness or other nightmarish symptoms so many have suffered.

Following the Italian Health Institute guidelines for releasing someone from self-isolation, Politi was tested again two weeks after his positive swab. But, fever-free and with no symptoms at all, he tested positive once more. The test was carried out a week later, 21 days after his diagnosis, and he still tested positive for the virus. Now, 30 days later, Politi has just tested positive again, calling into question just how long the novel coronavirus stays in some people’s systems and whether that might play a role in why, despite a month-long draconian lockdown, Italy just can’t seem to shake the virus.

There's a new (pre-review) study suggesting this could have something to do with measurement errors. So, for example, with the pregnant women observation study discussed on the previous page it could include false-PCR-positivity due to test sensitivity picking up people who were around COVID-19 positive people but not asymptomatic, not infected themselves.

Then from the other direction, what looks like re-infection, re-activation, or recurrence, could be instead, "there is no abrupt virus elimination at the time of seroconversion. Rather, seroconversion early in week 2 coincides with a slow but steady decline of sputum viral load."

The paper raises a lot questions because it shows test results switching between positive and negative as the viral load decreases:

Honestly, I think you’re more likely to be infected in the community than in the hospital, at least with this virus.

Would it 'weaken' the virus so that it is more vulnerable to targeted therapies and cures via meds? No clue here, just a layman brainstorming based on the anti inflammatory reaction of the human body to cold water immersion/wim hoffing...and other reports of folks surviving severe hypothermia and being restored to normal function after reheating the body...just wondering what effect, if any, the cooling of core temperatures has on the little viruses and such.
I don't know the answer. To significantly cool the body without killing the patient would probably mean putting them on cardiopulmonary bypass (heart lung machine)--cooling like this is sometimes done in heart surgery.
