So after picking up some free to me deathwish 190 with utterly shredded bases...and skiing them in the street during Seattle snowmaggen...and using them as shot skis this summer...and paying evo to do the base repair...and finally getting the edges tuned to my liking...
I agree with all previous comments about grip, versatility, and hardpack performance.
Really nice waist size for just about anything. Begs to be in the air. Light enough to swing around easily even for a hack like me. Centered stance for soft snow or quick pivoting, lays trenches when on edge. Very comfortable switch. I’m slightly in front of the line.
I also get why they made it a little stiffer this year.
My pair likely won’t last long enough to be anything other than shot skis by seasons end...
But I would recommend. Will be skiing them whenever Conditions are in daily driver territory
