I agreed for moments 50 50 I'd go regular. This year shifts on the 190 deathwish is awesome. Cy you should do it!

I'm sure this is somewhere but I couldn't find it with 20 mins of the search function and the last few pages of this thread. Will the G3 skin attachment fit on the square tip of the non-tour moment skis?

Yes
Welp, just finished the one beer that was keeping me from jumping off. Then I cracked one of those 10 Barrel canned cocktails so who knows what happens next.
Have Pivots on em now, but I don't love pivots, I have to have them outside of their adjustment range to work with my inbounds boots, anyway, and they already have tech fittings, so yeah time to poke a new set of holes in my favorite skis!
I just picked up a pair of used 2016 Bibby's and am wondering if anyone has mounted them -8 or even -10? I don't ski switch and all 3 of my skis are mounted about -10. I have a fused ankle with a really tall (20 mm) heel lift in that boot since I have zero dorsiflexion so I think part of my issue is the heel lifts are putting all my weight on the balls of my feet making the tips wanting to sub so mounting back counteracts that since you can't really ski centered when you're pitched forward. Just curious how the Bibby will do around -10. The powder skis I used last year recommended -8.25 but I found -10 to -11 to be a lot better in deep pow. Thanks!
Yeah, I have some Tyrolia Attack Demos I may put on so I can experiment. I'm also going to experiment with gas-pedaling my bindings to offset the heel lifts which may make it easier to get into a more centered stance. These would primarily be for powder days and a couple days after as I have a few other pairs for firm conditions. BTW- I forgot to put some important info in my original post. The Bibbys are 190s and I'm 6' 190 lbs. As I've been reading tons of posts from people saying to stick with the -6 mount position, I'm concerned if these are going to work for me if they really require a centered mount and stance. Everything revolves around my fused ankle (they removed all of the cartilage and bolted my tibia to my talus) so I can't undo the 20 mm heel lift in that boot or I'll for sure break my ankle. Maybe experimenting with shims under the toe bindings will help rotate me back and get some of the weight off of the balls of my feet so I can ski more centered on these. Before mounting them a 2nd time, it would just be good to know if the design of these skis has the potential to work or if their intended design means they'd suck for me.
What are your other skis? Are the "drive the tip" skis or "centered stance" skis? Since you boot setup is pretty unique, I'd just go with what you already has found to work. But in my opinion, putting a set of holes into a ski isn't a terrible thing
*Edit: if you do decide to get rid of them, let me know[emoji16]

Definitely more of a traditional stance as I started skiing about 35 years ago with some racing way back when. The ski that the Bibby is likely replacing (to extend the deeper pow window) is a Line Supernatural 108 which I believe has about -10 or -10.5 mount and both my Fischer and Liberty Origins are in the -10ish range (well, the Liberty factory line was about -8.25 but it was unskiable with my ankle until I got it back to -10. Heck, even my 2016 Blizzard Spur that I had a couple years ago was -10.5 so yeah, nothing more "centered" before. Getting used to a more centered stance isn't my concern but I'm not sure my ankle/required heel lifts will allow a centered stance but like I said, I plan to experiment with gas pedaling the toe bindings to hopefully counteract the heel lifts. I have run across a few posts from people digging them at -7.5 to -8 so that may be enough but hopefully the tails aren't too locked in in the trees.

I’m 6’8” tall. I have the 184s and the 190s. Both mounted on the recommended line and even on the 184s I can drive the shit out of the shovels. They’d do fine at -2 cm, but I don’t know why you’d want or need to go -4cm behind the line. The twin tip means that mount is back further than it seems, wrt ski length.
Any reason to not go on the line for any Moments?
I’m opening up some Commander 108s that “Santa” brought me tomorrow.
I’ve tried to keep up with this thread and most of the mounting point talk has been about the Wildcats, but my impression has be the line is dialed in across the whole line.

Wildcat, Deathwish, Meridian Tour, Meridian 117 the line has been money. I've demoed the Commander and never thought about messing with bindings to push back or forward. They felt dialed to me.
Done and done.
Thanks.
I’m pumped.

Fear, Doubt, Disbelief, you have to let it all go. Free your mind!
Any real world comparison between the commander 118 and the 2015 M1 Garbones? Thoughts on the feel of the titinal?
Hey everyone, I'm going to throw this on the moment talk since I've been a long time Moment user and fanboy. Looking to upgrade my powder setup. Currently on 2012(!!!) Night Trains 178 which I've loved for years but definitely looking to upgrade length (I'm 5'7", 155lbs). My other ski is 2018 Armada ARV 106 which I"m really digging for all mtn skiing but want something more powder specific for bigger days. I ski about 30-40 days a year, Sunlight season pass holder, ski the east ridge alot. 4 day classic pass at Aspen which is almost always entirely used at Highlands. Also do a Silverton trip each year, this year get a heli day. I've been looking at the Wildcat vs 4Frnt Renegages vs ON3P Billy Goats vs J Ski The Friend. Anyone have experience on any or all of these that could offer any kind of comparison. I haven't skied powder on anything but the Night Trains in 7 years so not sure how skis feel different nowadays. I want something with great float and slashing and pivoting ability. Basically I want a ski that will make me better without me actually being better and also if there's one that helps fight fatigue so I can ski moar longer lol. If anyone can offer an opinion, I'd appreciate it! Cheers!
Anybody else notice how fucking good the pbj is?!!! I’ve got last years model, only skied a few days this season; knee surgery last April. Soo much fun and stable, easy to carve, big sweet spot, pretty light, nimble loves going straight or turning. Well done Moment. [emoji119]
