Did you actually, you know, WATCH the video, or are you just making that observation based on the still shot of the pistol??
Those have been around for a while, couple years I believe. I have not heard anything good or bad on them.
Personally I would shy away as the extra complexity to fold seems prone to fail eventually. I would need to know more about it to make a better decision.

Looking on GB there are folding gen 5 M43 out now and you can buy just the lower for the M19 if you already have one.
The clear advantage is the larger frame and 21 rd mag combo. Extra capacity would be better for multiple targets or an opponent up gunned with a rifle or shotgun.

Baking soda is useful if you have a bunch of coke and you want to smoke it. Wait, waht?
Yeah I seen that you can just buy the lower, that’s awesome. The whole package is pretty pricey, you’re more than doubling the MSRP of a regular Glock 19. Advantage in addition to the 21 rounds is also that it prints much less, especially when it’s warmer and you’re only wearing a t shirt or whatever. looks like a cell phone or something in your pocket, def not a glock w a 21 rd mag!
The Gen 3 version is $850 on the website. I see it as a niche product, time will tell if it will be around in the years to come.
More than 15 rounds for a pistol is no bueno in my state anymore. I would like an AR-9 Glock magazine variant pistol with an optimal length SBR carbine barrel and a brace so it will work with my existing Glock mags. There's no money in the budget for any guns that aren't for [my middle kid to go] hunting per the CFO. Although with the tRumpanistas getting out of hand these days, it might be an easier sell.
Safe rec's?
On a definite budget. I continue to scour KSL classifieds here in SLC to find something, but looking to spend ~300. Would need to only hold 5ish now, but also thinking about the future and finally getting the 3 remaining firearms out of Mom's place in VT.
Any suggestions on places to find good pricing or scratch/dent?
Thanks.

Check video on utoobs, many safes can be broken into using rare earth magnets.
Any safe can be broken into in time. The point is keep them from kids, meth heads that break in.

Is Tractor Supply a thing in SLC? They have real good prices on safes every day, and frequently run good sales on them. I bought my safe used (as you are looking to do) from a guy on my local shooters forums (my other forum addiction!) northeast shooters. Not sure if you have an equivalent over in SLC. Also, as you said, deals pop up on Craigslist from time to time.
Buy a safe for the guns you *might* own down the road, not for the guns you own right now! I.e. if you have 5 guns, you need at least a 10-12 gun safe. It’s always better to have more room than not enough. Oh yeah, don’t buy stack-on.
If it's not 100 percent safe why bother, right?
A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.
The solution is to have many safes in many places. It takes 5x to break into 5 safes.
And don't put them in the garage.
That happened to my wife's uncle, expect they cut the wall and floor of his house out with a chainsaw and tipped the whole thing out with a truck. Seriously.
Another friend of mine lives in a Tweakertown.
He has a nice shiny safe with the cheap guns in it. "The shooters".
The real heirlooms/investments are hidden other places in his house/outbuildings and it requires knowledge of the exact location and access requires multiple tools etc. I think you'd need several days and a metal detector to find them.
I'd suggest that if you have shit worth stealing (he collects pre-1900 western guns.) Otherwise, safes are for keeping out kids and honest people who are curious.
Don't brag about your guns anywhere where it could become somewhat common knowledge that you've got valuable shit and/or guns in the home. Might as well put up a huge sign that says free drugs and cash on your front door.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Two double taps.
Nioce.
Why do all the affordable safes have shitty electronic locks? It seems impossible to find a mechanical combo lock these days.
Part of it is "affordable safes" are really residential security containers and big fan bolts and electronic locks make the average consumer get a warm fuzzy feeling.
