Great shots.
If you ever decide to go another direction and sell any of these beauties keep me at the top of your list (I ski the same lengths).

Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.
Word. For the TGR type, this is often true. For my friend that might tour once or twice a season, not as applicable. I also will reiterate my distrust for Freerides, as I have said all over the forum. I had too many break in me and in metal that should not have sheered. Plus that stack height feels like those mid nineties skis with the skyscraper bindings!
Someone once told me that I ski like a Scandinavian angel.
Following up on the K108 mounting point discussion.
I mounted my tour layup 186cm's on the line. Got out on them today and was pleasantly surprised by how much I could drive the tips considering the progressive mount. Definitely glad I got 186's though and not 181's, as it was nice to have a little more ski in front of my boot.
Also: tour layup still railed the groomers and were plenty stiff, so glad I shaved off a little extra weight for touring purposes. These are fun skis and can see why people are such fans.

The blue looks great with snow on it!

Nice TahoeJ - good to hear that your k108s worked out, they look pretty damn amazing! I probably should have went with tour layup on my w108s as well, but too late nowI think you posted it earlier, but what weight did they weigh?
Man BC, the on snow look of those Wrens must be pretty amazing. The colors really pop!

Well they look great. I've always been afraid that I would lose white skis in a deep snow yard sale. At least the ON3P bases are bright. Did you get the white for touring purposes or just like the way they look? Either way they look rad, and I'm super jealous of how much snow I see under that lift.

At least you have lifts spinning. We got nothing. Forecast is calling for a few feet next week. Hoping to get the first tour on the shifts if it works out.

I had some disagreements with my Wren98’s last year. I had a hard time driving the tips. I think my problem is with the toe height of the Pivot 18’s. Currently have all the included spacers under the toe. What is the advisable spacer setup?

When it comes to a universally ideal binding delta angle, there is no such thing. This subject has been beaten to death on other threads (mainly those concerning tech binding shims) so I'm not going to go into depth on it here.
In short though, yes, removing the 5mm spacer from underneath the toe of an FKS bindings helps *most* skiers get more forward on their skis.
I mounted my new presters, thanks to PowTron for input on mount location. There's not a lot of info out there on these, so I'm excited to see how these do as a jibby hard pack ski.

Get some!
You should have been here yesterday!
I am ready to get out my new to me 189 W108 demos from last year and can't wait to get them on snow. 2 more weeks. Since the bindings are on demo plates and I can move the around what do people most prefer on mounting point to start with. I have mainly been on my Bibby's for the last 4 years so going back to a more traditional mount will be interesting.
I like my Wren 108s on the line, haven't skied them anywhere else though. Consensus in this thread seems to be that ON3P has the mount point pretty dialed in on all their skis, but since you can slide your binders, play around a little and find what you like. I'll be interested to hear what you decide on.

Wren 108 on the line for sure.
I have been on the new wren108 189's a couple times this season, I was pretty surprised how much rocker it had up front (first ON3Ps for me) if I had demos on them I'd definitely try -1 after I tried on the line. Ski felt pretty dialed though, the faster they go the faster they go, can't wait to open them up once more opens.
Hey Tron, I realise you aren't exactly the guy for this and I also guess you're all pretty slammed right now (lack of posts and such) but I sent an email about 2 weeks ago about trading in or swapping last years Wren 98's... I'm in no rush for a reply, like I said in the email, but I filled it all out on your contact page and just wanted to make sure you got it? I've had issues with the contact message forms in the past... A yes or no will suffice, don't need a reply or explanation!
PowTron doesn't work for ON3P anymore.
I was in the same boat as you, I couldn't get ahold of the company directly. I wanted some info on mount points, and he was able to help me. But if it's a business thing instead of an gear question you'll probably have to wait.

getting second hand w88 179s second hand isn't all that hard

For your quiver needs i would probably go with w96s for the best of both tides - a perfect one-two directional punch from ON3P. Being ON3Ps they will never be magical on ice - due to the deep rocker profiles - but on everything from hard snow to all kinds of softer snow they will be pure bliss.
That being said, except for punching through stuff, kartel 108s are pretty damn good directional skis as well imo - a bit more turny and caters even better to myriad turnshapes than w108s (i simply adore w108s! but they are a bit more all speed all the time). My one ski quiver would probably still be a stiffer k108.
