late arrival meant getting some people rest + injuries.

i hope boone gets injured. third time this week he let a pitcher go too long but they played like shit on top of it.

Astros thump the A's by scoring 9 unanswered runs after being behind early 4-2.

the Astros have had an august swoon the past few years but with their hitters off the injury list; I'd say it's over and the Astros are more likely to catch the red sox for best record than have the A's or M's pass them now.

Has another batter ever been responsible for all 3 outs in a single inning? Poor Benintendi. The only Red Sox player to not get on base in that inning.

I sure Benny is fine making all three outs in an inning...it means you send a lot to the plate. At least for outside appearances...on inside he is going DOH!
