    That's spicing the yoga up.

Weaver in general sucks imo for defensive shooting, but Lance Thomas made it work well for him.

One of the funny aspects of everyday objects is their potential lethality in the hands of one of the Kennedy extended family, or ability to FSU in the case of a PGA wife done wrong.

Nothing like a good Maglite, for instance, just be careful in CA with it.

I might get one of these just for insurance against sweeping gun control (historical pieces will likely be ok, whatever happens),

I don't think a single shot 7' weapon would have been very effective on the 3 guys I met while breaking into my house.

AR would definitely be the first choice!

But, a Brown Bess with the bayonet could work. There's a reason bayonet charges were so scary.

75 years ago today my pop was practicing to stick and slash Nazis to death with a bayonet preparing for Operation Husky. The orders from the top were to create fear and panic in the enemy by using the knives. I'm certain that dad killed with a blade, but he never spoke of it.

You are certain of it, hahaha.

No, I'm sure. Weird to you Not so weird if you dug up a nazi helmet as a 6 y o playing in the sand pile in your back yard. And your dad got engaged using a ring made from gold teeth he had collected.

This wouldn't work well for home defense, but would be sweet for birds and squirrels.

How do you lock up a gun that long?
Who wants to keep that flame thrower loaded?
How long does it take to load?
If you walked down a hall and somebody came up behind you, what are the odds you get that stuck in the floor, ceiling or wall?

At least advocate a double barrel 20.

Nothing wrong with this, either, http://www.militaryheritage.com/musket26.htm .

For the fowling piece, I did note that it wouldn't be great for home defense, but it's easy enough to get a long enough locker that's compliant with all states' regs.

As far as room-clearing during a home defense situation, not really recommended, but you are talking a long metal pipe attached to hardwood. Even unloaded, still pretty useful, even without a bayonet.

Let me tell you something that your mother didn't want you to know. You are to feeble minded to be trusted with pointy objects.

Don't mind wooley. He lives in a geriatric home and is on restricted computer time for searching how to break out of the home and live as a classical women of high stature. Typical psychosis of the mentally insane they say.

He also keeps szechauan sauce packets under his chair for when maz stops by for happy happy fun fun time. He is a weird guy, but to each their own.

From the guy who posted 5 of the last 11 posts.

Its going to be okay. Just stop, delete your account and start over. You try to post stuff that isn't crap on occasion but it doesn't cancel out the other 80% you put up.

    A fresh start couldn't hurt.
