Fuck you. Aaah, now I'll take my daily morning dump thinking of you. And thanks for continuing to carry my water here. Keep whitewashing the fence for me.

Curious whether other people here like side by sides for upland birds? I shoot o/u for pheasant and normally prefer o/u for chukar because I feel like the o/u is easier to carry when broken open even though it weighs more, but really like the light weight of the s x s for some birds like quail.
There's a bumpstop convo going on in the Wrenchin' thread...

Yet here you are having signed into a gun thread replying and rending clothing in said gun thread...simple to not go into these threads...and people say I have no control. Sheesh.
Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Kind of like a transceiver...glad you have it when needed. Yet very rare that it'll actually be needed.
That's an interesting question.
I started at a young age with over under. Every time I have shot a side by side it just felt uncomfortable .
Is one style better for specific shooting situations? or is it just what you are comfortable with?
That said if you like to use a different choke on each barrel the over under makes more sense to me.

It's "Roll". Like Roll me over in the clover. Saturday and no date? Use something that's water soluble.

I could have picked you up from the old folks home to hang. We didnt have any prune juice and I didnt want to temp a raging alcoholic with top shelf bourbon.
We also shot guns prior so more than likely you would have been an inconsolable idiot due to inanimate objects. Loser.
I think the o/u shoots better, both due to better pointability and to not being affected by recoil as much.
Traditional English stock and splinter forend s x s carries nicely, and the double trigger can be nice in some covey situations. Probably really more an 8s and 9s sort of gun for where they seem most useful.
Mossburg 20 guage. Bolt action with an adjustable choke. Never missed what I aimed at. Pussie wannabes talk about what tech will make them a better shot. Talk, talk, talk, talk does not make you a Hawkeye.

You are getting creepier. Same dumbness but creepy. Is your wife safe from you?

I never liked the straight English stocks.
I like the single trigger, open chokes and love #8's.
I've seen recoil move the safety on a ruger to the "on" position, so I could see how you wouldn't like that but I don't care for that gun myself.
There is a huge jump from a stoeger, to a red label to a medium end whatever.
I shoot a 20 year old pre buyout, pre model name Franchi, better than a $3k browning. I think its on par with a 692 Beretta.
Fit makes a huge difference too.
I haven't tried a Caesar, perazzi or up, I would be scared to take it into a field.
My go to deer gun turns 50 next year. If it works, don't mess with it. I just haven't tried a new sxs or found an old one I liked.
^lol
Bobby, what makes you think I'm anti gun? You need to take better notes of the mags like me that you seem to want to give a blow job to. And take your hands out of your pockets. Sick.

I know people who collect Shotguns and they all seem to have some nice Antique side by side.
I knew this one guy who like to hunt quail with his dog and an old "Very nice" 20 GA side by side, said it was the old school aspect of the hunt. Gave satisfaction in success.
Last night I just searched Youtube for Quail hunting, and seems the standard is a short side by side. - go figure.

I prefer a 20ga auto. I have had over unders and side by sides. Always revert back to the auto.
