I believe if you book online, it's up to $140.

Nobody is really spending more than a few runs worth of time on the hill. Maybe they can employ shifts if you don't want to lap catwalks.

Crested Butte Avalanche Center bringing the lulz: "The Gunnison Valley Ice Skating Coalition and Crested Butte Ice Climbers for 2018 Club, continue to support a blocking ridge of high pressure over the Western half of the US. These two organizations will look forward to the continued dry weather through the foreseeable future. We can let the GVISC and CBICC have their weather that supports nice ice formation, but I hear the Big Bad Backcountry Skiers For Slate River Powder, are really working for a weather change and have something up their sleeve."

Let me add to that: a 5 week trial to begin late January.

I had a kiddo in January 2011. Y'all are welcome for that year.

Up here in the Fraser Valley, you can still ride your bike at 8500. I had to go to Houston to have a snowball fight. Sometimes is snows, sometimes it doesn't. I truly feel bad for people that can't find something better to do with their time. That said, the economy and people's livelihoods around here really in a house of cards built on skiers coming for the holidays. Personally, I think they is some value to a reality check that says, "hey, it ain't all pinot and powder days up here in the mountains". I just hope the working man doesn't take it in the wallet too hard.

My youngest was born in January.
I went to Las Lenas the prior September, as consolation.
You need to learn to plan these things in advance.

    Congrats.

Lots of little ruggers up at the Sundeck.
The joint parent pass is cool too.

I'm sure you'll manage and find a way, just like most parents.
The way this season is going, it's going to be a perfect time to teach little Hatch how to snowboard.
She got suited up at the shop yesterday and is STOKED.

Is this the year for the first winter thru-bike of the CT?

    I've got some vacation time...

This pic is from the top of La Plata Canyon at the parking area looking north, Purg, Coal Bank, and Engineer Mtn are up there somewhere. The ride into town on the CT was a little spicy due to the frozen creeks that were groomed nicely by elfs on minituare zambonis.
