I haven't looked in awhile but we used to check the consumers reports to find out which cars or products are gona suck and stay away from them

usually any jeep product, lots of chrysler, VW were suspect but any toyota was good

The aftermarket chrome mascara for the wheel arches is a nice touch for what had to be one of the biggest death traps of the 90s.

    Well:

A recent Edmunds survey listed 10 cars that had the largest proportion of Millennial buyers — defined as customers 18 to 34 years of age — in the second-hand market. While the industry averaged a 16.8 percent for most models, the top ten models all saw 24.7 percent of their sales or higher go towards Millennials.
Widely regarded as one of the ugliest cars ever built, the Pontiac Aztek ranked in sixth place, with over a quarter of all sales going to Millennials. Edmunds called it a result of the Breaking Bad Effect, named after the hit TV show that followed the exploits of a chemistry teacher turned meth kingpin. The main character of the show drove an Aztek.

Not the worst car ever. Not even remotely close.

Indeed, possibly one of the better cars ever.

    What.In.The.Fucking.Fuck?!

The 4wd Tercel wagon belongs in "the best ski car/wagon" thread, not the worst.

They were available with a manual transmission with a low range.

If ours didn't die of terminal rust, I'd still be driving it. Replaced it with an alltrac wagon, which also should be in a "best" list.

It died from terminal rust as well, so yeah, there's that, but still awesome reliable dirtbag skibum vehicles.

Sorry gang but it is the worst car when you are a teenage girl.

But before the panties get too bunched, know that I value my cars differently these days as in what wyeaster said- one that starts and runs is the best to me now!!

Exactly. Just look at the LeBaron woody convertible.

    Or that diesel Chevette.

I think I have this figured out .

The next time somebody says you can own three cars- what would they be - I'm inclined to respond-

    Crown Vic police interceptor
Tercel 4wd wagon manual of course
    And,,,,,,
    A sport Quattro

There I figured out the thread.

Still not completely sold on those ugly-ass vehicles but good music in that video.

Cage the Elephant - In One Ear
Billie Joe Shaver - Fun while it lasted.

    Good shit.

I suppose I technically still own my B210, although I haven't seen it since 1984, when I abandoned it in a farm field in MN, next to my dead '67 Cougar. I think the title is in the glove box, if anybody wants to go claim it.

    The worst car

OK, what about worst car you ever owned?

For me it was 3 or 4 late 90's era Grand Cherokees. FIL was in the wholesale business, we'd get them dirt cheap since everyone knew they were piles of crap. We'd buy them at around 60k miles and dump them around 90k. So in that brief ownership window, we experienced complete AC failure, leaking gas tanks, seized center diffs, many electrical gremlins, failed starter motors, water pumps and crank arm sensors, and the constant feeling parts could fall off at any time.

    The worst car

I'll always have fondness for our early 80s B210. Nothing worst about a car a hot cheerleader is willing to have sex in. Hatchbacks rule. The car was pretty good too
