^^^ lol, well I can't be certain, but my girlfriend's sure looked like that. Like a big version of the VW Scirocco. Were there other versions of that body type?

Well, then 70% were sold to non-maggots,seems reasonable in a way, look at the bright side lad.
Yes.

Maggots probably just bought the red ones?
Well they are faster after all.
I think that accounts for 4 at the least?
All these unbelievably shitty GM cars have me convinced that the entirety of the world was just varying shades of Browns, taupes, and burnt siennas in the 70s.
I still call it The Jake.
My first whip:
Straight 6, three on the tree, impressed all the ladies. Bought it with 60k miles and front end was already super loosey goosey. Braking was an approximate description. Reliable drivetrain though. Quickly moved on to my first Volvo wagon...
Wanting a cheap car easily fixable by the backyard mechanic I looked at a number of Maverick/Mercury comets and every one of them had a big rust patch just behind the front shock tower in the engine compartment, sometimes the hood didn't close right cuz the hinges were rusty, so i gave up on that model and bought a pontiac venture/chev nova which was a solid specimen & a good choice
My HS buddies were buying 65 ford mustangs really cheap which were good cars but they were clapped out/rust bucckets point being you can have a bad speciman of a good car
So what does thread title "the worst car " ask ?

The bertone... a complete piece.
The all around worst car ever is.... The Hummer H1. My friend went through 3 motors, 1 transmission and 4 sets of brakes in 100k miles. The interior burlwood fell apart, you got wet when it rained, you couldn't hear the person next to you in the car who was farther away from you than the driver in the jeep in the other lane.
And for being 7'2" across, it was tiny inside due to the trans tunnel.
The worst sports car ever was the 1975 corvette, with 160 HP.
The worst truck ever... the 97 ford F150 had 34 recalls. 34.
I'm sure they are perfectly wonderful capable cars but they are ugly AF
skid luxury
The Tercel wagon ^^ looked like a USA mailbox from the back but hey were really good cars
I supose in this case they were not pretty enough but is that the same as worst?
Some of them had 4x4 and there were not many small 4x4 cars back then which would be 83-85?

And stick!
They had these goofy little skylight windows in the back too along the edges of the roofline. They were about 3" wide by 12" long and served exactly no purpose. Couldn't open em, couldn't block them with a shade if the sun was beating down on you through the glass, and forget trying to replace or fix them if you cracked them.

I had an 83 Tercel wagon. Manual 4 speed with the compound low gear. Great car. 39 mpg. Turned it into an accordion in a traffic accident.
Bought an '85 automatic. Terrible car in comparison.
My were know as the ATM as well
I rip the groomed on tele gear
at the time the only competition in small 4x4 wagons was the subaru which i owned and actualy the tercel was much more refined to drive on a highway ... even had 5 gears
but it wasnt worst anything

Friend of mine's mom had one of those Tercel wagons when I was in high school. Theirs was white with black trim. We called it the Space Shuttle.
My wife (at the time) when I lived in Fairbanks in the 80s had one of those Tercel wagons - 4WD and 5 speed. It was a great fucking car for winter, and there's a lot of winter there. At that time the other choices were Subarus or AMC Eagles. The Tercel was a no-brainer.
There wasn't a lot of consideration for how vehicles looked in FBK in the 80s. They either worked well or they didn't.

Well, I think we can all agree that it's no LeBaron.
I still call it The Jake.
Lower it and put some new wheels on it and you might have something.
Did anyone post up a Pontiac Aztek? I didn't read through all the pages. Ugliest modern car ever IMO.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
